Maybe it's just me, but I think Poe's law is in effect here.

I signed the one that they SHOULD release on PC.
Why? Because the reasoning behind this petition is the worst reasoning ever.

Consoles have pirating too, don't try to deny it. Sure, maybe the PS3 is mostly secure but the XBOX360 is still a pile of exploitable holes.
Also, not all PC gamers pirate games. A good part of the pirates even buy the game afterward if they end up liking it. (Make good games, get money. Make bad games, get pirated)

I doubt this is petition will make it further then the digital paper schredder at R* anyway.

And just to make it clear: I do not care the slightest bit for GTA at all. I just don't want idiots who don't do their homework to get proven right.

Spoiler the GTA V version would be online for both console cracked before launch day.
The reason why would because crackers / hackers have their sources, so the only gate for them is to get cracked console and get a copy of the cracked game.
So lets face the fact that people that do this will keep on doing this.

PC market is very massive, people that invest in a 1k+ PC gaming machine just to play games.
These people ARE the target market for this game.

GTA V needs to break ~$266 million to get even.

If after these facts anyone thinks that Rockstar not going to release a PC version of the game, I'm deeply sorry for you.
Sure they would drag it to bank at most of the console versions, as any smart marketing would do.

As for me i'm going to buy a PS3 version and still wait for the PC version.

P.S. At least we will get a nice list of idiots out of this petition.

I believe they are already going to make it, but it will come out later, plus why hate? Any true gamer respects every system other gamers decide to use that it could run on, children don't and cause wars like "xbox is better" or ps3 is better" or "pc is better" and with out computers, we would be no where. Plus the mods people make for computers games... just holy fuck, like gta4 ironman mod, custom cars, all sorts of amazing shit.

yes dont do a crappy PC ports on PC, PC gamers deserve muc respect from Rockstar (no Red dead redemption i.e) so Rockstar pls don't do a crappy port on PC: we are all pirates.lol...ahahah poor console children. i rememebr games for xbox360 released before on torrent than on shop!
WE have Saints Row 2-3-4 that are 100 hundred better than shitty rockstar ports as LA noire and GTA$4

uhh... I'm really not good at math, but if they sell a PC game 10 mio times and have it pirated 20 mio times but still make 30 mio dollars by that, wouldn't that be 30 million more dollars than if they sold the game 0 times just for the sake of not having it pirated?

Or do they really expect the 10 million guys that would have bought it for the PC will now buy a stupid useless console plus their overpriced console version of that game? Maybe 1/10 is that stupid/rich. All others will just move on and play one of the other million games there are.

That's funny, I guess console fan boys are to busy playing with their underpowered machines using outdated hardware to notice you can pirate for consoles too. I guess they are still jealous of our specs.

But even if they don't realise it they will loose the well, huge amount of people that would buy it (skyrim is a good example here) so it would be them loosing millions while us PC players just playing different games.

Does anyone else think that this is just because of the console gamers are sick of the whole PC MASTER RACE and just want to get an exclusive so they can deride us?
