When my mom brought our first NES home. I was sitting over the heater vent next to the door when she came in. Due to the fact that it was just single-bagged, I knew right away what it was. I went utterly batshit over it, too. And since my mom was friends with someone who either owned or worked at a rental store*, we were able to rent a ton of great games, all without worrying about getting stuck with a terribad one. We just returned the shit and got another one for the remainder of our rental time.

*I think it was the owner, but I am not 100% sure. I can't remember most of my childhood. ;\/

Edit: My mom said it was the dude who was renting our small grocery store from us. Welp, close enough. lol
