Was done with my list, so I restared IM.
I think I got two more cards from the first two games - but it just stopped working for me

So read what other people are doing, changing the game seems to work. It looks like the moment a game is opened, you get a card so currently I have an autoclicker literally idling each game for 1 second (enough time for the client to start the next game :3)

It's because I didn't play them for 2+ hours that's why, but yeah changing games might work, not 100% sure though, tried in with 2 games that were over 2 hours, only got 1 card but now it stopped for me.

It may only work for the first card shrugs I increased the interval to 5 seconds, 1 second was probably too short. At 40 and climbing as we speak

The 2 hours are not a obligation for everyone, I never have to wait 2 hours before starting to drop cards, we me and others on Reddit think that it have something to do with refund: people who have request a refund, even one, have to wait ...

Well this sucks, it seems like when you hit 100 cards, you have to empty out your notifications/check the cards received or it seems like cards stop dropping. So much for leaving it to idle for hours T__T That or it just stops notifying you

I'm not using AFK or IM and I haven't been able to trigger it by running games.
If anyone has been able to trigger it without the use of 3rd party software, then I'd love to know.
If not, then let us know too.
Edit: I'm using IM now and all I had to do was start it and click skip, wait 2 sec, and I got a card for the I skipped. Which seems that it gives out cards when the game is exited.
It didn't work for the first few ones but starts to work after a few skips.

You will receive cards from idling either after 2 hours or after 14 days from purchase. It's essentially Steam's safeguard to prevent people from farming cards and then returning the game.

There used to be 2 hours warm up after they introduced refunds and discovered, much like just about everyone predicted, that the refund system was being exploited for cards. Somewhat recently they changed it so that people who have never asked for a refund skip the 2-hour warmup.

if you get a refund STeam makes the cards drop way slower for you

Works differently for me i dont have 2hours for idling game but waiting 3 minutes while idling then changing the game drops me a card yuppi:D

I have 700 games to drop cards but only getting one for each game then it's removed from my list of card drops n games, so what happens once you've been through all the games will it go for the other cards or will I still have to idle the games for the rest of them?
Does Idle Master repick up the games which havent fully dropped all their cards?

Everytime you start Idle Master, it will check your games for available card drops and idles these games.
So when you are done with your list, just restart idle master and repeat :)
