Yeah, what perrolijo said. The only use that prevents abuse is to only allow a giveaway to be extended.

Not that you can't shorten them, but you'd need quite a few variables. Such as making sure that someone doesn't create a 30-day giveaway and then after an hour set it to 1 hour to end it in the next minute and as such create an artificial public giveaway that he can alert his buddies to with vastly improved odds than usual.

It's a good idea, but i think we should only allow to extend end time not shorten. Also higher level can add more time, like level 1 can extend 1 day while level 5 can extend 5 days.

Also people are supposed to receive their win in seven days. Knowing for sure the exact time the giveaway will end when they are entering it helps planning what to enter should they be away for long periods of time.

an option to extend the time if there's not many entries could be a good thing. would also be nice to have an option to have the giveaway end on receiving a certain number of entries (and it being listed as limited entry rather than having an end time) when created
