do you have to wait to the giveaway is over to gain contributer

i made a giveaway of the game altitude but its not showing up as i have any contributer so i thought maybe you have to wait for it to finish if so please tell me because i want to enter contributer giveaways thankyou :D

You only get the value after the person you gave it to "accepts" it in steamgifts.com.

You'll have to give the gift and wait for the person to claim it and mark it as received.
