Winner doesnt mark gift as received

Ok so I have this user who won one of my gifts. He has seen the key but hasnt marked it as received. I happened to check out his profile and it seems he is suspended for 3 days. I then checked his Steam profile and i see lots of comments from other people telling him to mark the gifts as received..

Got a weird feeling about this one. It's only been 2 days but I was wondering what I should do and how long I need to wait until I can take action?
The fact that he has seen the key but hasn't marked it as received is very weird, wouldn't most people immediately activate the key?? I know I would lol..

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you mean the link to the user i posted here? And is there a way to check if the key has already been activated? If the next person won't be able to activate it, won't I be blamed for it? :P

no, u can't check it without activating
U have 3 ways

  • wait till this user return from suspension
  • ask support about giveaway deletion (if u are not sure if key is still valid)
  • ask support about reroll and see how it goes.

Personally i'd ask about deleting and when its done i'll give this key to someone from my friendlist (since i'm not sure its still valid)

Additionally you should remove the key from the GA. If you're lucky he hasn't copied it somewhere.

You need to wait for 7 days, and send a support ticket to request received feedback, please don't request for reroll as the key could have been already used.

Check the winner's steam profile for the game he won. I doubt it's in their library.
Check the winner's profile on sgtools for previous non-activations.
From my experience with that kind of profile, probably sells / trade the keys and goes with the flow on SG.
The safest thing is to ask the GA to be deleted. Do not risk giving dupe key on re-roll.
