hello~
im pretty sure its my first post in the forum, so.... nice to meet you all ^_^

anyway, im looking for RPG games to play in my laptop, but not MMO games, which means i want a PC game with no network involved(although local/coop could be nice...).

the thing is, i can play any game i want (its a strong laptop, i7 CPU, 8GB RAM and AMD graphics) but im looking for a game that does not require a mouse ( keyboard only, or low usage with a mouse which means i can manage with the touch-pad).
im actually a big fan of animes so anime-themed games will be greatly welcomed :) (if theres japanese dubbing, EVEN BETTER!)

i don't care about the graphics, i can even play games with terraria's graphics (if you don't know terraria, check it out, awesome game! finished it 4 times :D )

if possible, i prefer an easy game, nothing too hard, because i plan to play it while im in bed (thats why i can't use a mouse) so i prefer the game to be kinda easy and casual.
i prefer 3D games, but i can play 2D as well (although it should be good enough to make up for the 2D).

as i said before, even though i have a strong laptop, it doesn't have to be a new game, or a game with awesome graphics, i can play any game as long as its fun and... not scary XD

so i guess most people won't read most of it... because i tend to write too much...so heres a summary :D

-RPG PC Game - Non MMo (localcoop could be nice)

-No need for a mouse OR low use of a mouse(so i could use a touchpad instead)

-Anime-Themed (japanese dubbing could be nice)

-doesn't matter how old the game is, or what its graphics, everything is welcomed as long as its fun.

-preferable 3D games, although 2D is welcomed too as long as its fun :P

-preferable easy difficulty, nothing too hard(i don't wanna bash my head on the laptop... its expensive :/ )

-NOT SCARY!!!! (although... how scary can anime-themed RPG games be...? )

EDIT:i knew i forgot something.... i really prefer an Hack&Slash combat system (i mean, such as using the keyboard to attack in real time, no turns system or click and wait).

EDIT2: someone recommanded me "Chantelise - A Tale of Two Sisters" , it looks pretty nice, got any opinions about it?

i hope you can help me, and im... kinda... sorry for the big post...

Your welcome. I didn't see your new edit. I don't think there's an open RPG game that uses only keyboard

umm, actually im pretty sure a few games you recommanded are scary, not to mention non of them are anime-themed, and most of them requires a full use of a mouse (which i can't), the elder scrolls is a great series, skyrim is maybe the best RPG game i ever played, but because it requires a mouse i can't play it :(
i haven't checked all the games u recommanded yet, but i will watch some gameplay videos soon.
thank you very much for your recommandation :)

lol how are any of these scary? I'd recommend Divinity anthology but they require heavy mouse usage.
It's gotta be anime based too? Hmm.. Agarest seems ok you might also want to check out older Final Fantasy titles.

Why don't you just buy a usb mouse, its not that expensive and it will help you improve overall gaming experience, plus you can play any game you want

lol, thats not the problem, i have a gaming mouse, with USB ofc and i use my laptop mostly instead of my desktop which means most of the time im on a desk and using a mouse. the thing is i want a casual nice game to play when im tired of sitting next to the desk and i wanna go to my bed or somewhere else i don't have a flat ground.

Hope OP doesn't mind the hijacking, but since this is related I'm looking for a good RPG similar to Torchlight 2. Been looking at The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing and Forced, but reviews for Van Helsing were meh and I'm not too convinced by Forced.

Any suggestions/opinions?

i agree with Murder3 , just try whatever you think its fun, you don't have to buy it right away, you can just try demo if there is one or download a cracked version to check the game first.

actually i don't really like emulations, its not like i hate it because as a kid i used to play tons of hours with gameboy emulation. its just that right now, as i have alot of options, i think games should be played as they were ment to be played. if you have any anime games on pc, that would be greatly appriciated :)

Recettear kinda fits the bill. There's less combat than in a lot of other RPG's, though (it is hack and slash combat).
Oh, it's also translated by the same people who translated Chantelise. I don't know if it's the same developer, though.

Point taken for the Ys games. I knew there was a reason why I didn't recommend them the first time.
I have to say, though, Recettear is far from hard if you know that you get exponential experience bonuses from each consecutive sale you make without haggling.

actually i tried yesterday the game "Fortune Summoners" from carpe fulgur and it was really fun!

not easy(even though the difficulty was "easy"), but not really hard as well, i somehow without noticing played yesterday about 2 hours, and today i finished it after... 13-14 hours XD i have no idea why i played so much, never happend to me hahaha

One thing about Ys III is that there is no voice-acting in PC port, but there's an unofficial patch restoring it from PSP version, both English and Japanese. (Clicky)
