Civilization V, Stronghold Crusader, Age of Empires 2, Total War Shogun 2

Warcraft II: Battle.net Edition, Age of Empires II, Warcraft III, Company of Heroes, RUSE, Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II, Total War: Shogun 2, etc.

My favorite strategy game right now is FTL: Faster Than Light.

The game is so simple yet so insanely addictive.

I've gotten 8 out of the 9 ships and 18 out of the 48 achievements in the game so far with 40+ hours logged. (My Steam account only says 35 because I played a bunch of hours when I lost power due to Hurricane Sandy)

the new strategy games are realy hard to learn how to play them... a example is tryst, i played in beta and i fail to play it, and i give up xD

Shogun: Total War (the first one... I own the second, but I haven't really played it that much yet)

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2. Good memories. Shame EA screwed up the rest of the C&C games, imo.

How come RUSE is your favourite strategy game if you don't own it?

Could be wrong, but this kinda stinks like some sort of counter-logical begging expedition, mixed with a dumpster-load of rotting offal, and topped with a giant steaming mound of colon-fresh horse-nuggets...

I too missed RUSE, and would like to have got it in the region-locked Ubisoft promotion, but I'm not going to claim it's my top strategy game of all time, having never played the sucker...

Also, in other news, my favourite strategy game (and guilty pleasure, I guess) is C&C Generals. It's not well liked, and got a mediocre reception on release, but it's a blast... Shame about the planned P2W sequel though...
