Reroll for no VR equipment?

I just opened a giveaway for a game which by steam store requires a HTC Vive.

Can I ask the winner for a statement if such a equipment is present and if none is given (neither statement nor equipment) issue a reroll?
(So no direct reroll permission by the winner).

Custom 'rule'
Is in the description but I'm wondering about the official SG stuff. / and it's an invite giveaway but preventing people from joining I can't^^

Or make this GA in Playing Appreciated. If the winner doesn't have a VR set, they better quickly buy or rent one. ;-)

Write it in the text for the giveaway, that you're gonna re-roll the giveaway if the winner has no VR-Set and ask not to enter when not agree

You can ask, but the users entering can ignore it and enter anyway because it is against the rules for the giveaway creator to make any requirements for entering the giveaway. It's sad but unfortunately it seems that the majority of people just want a +1 on their Steam account.

I'm pretty sure support will not allow it and I think they will not want to deal with so many reroll requests anyway because unfortunately most people here seem to just enter anything to get a +1 on their Steam account or farm for cards. With the large number of users entering giveaways and the tiny number of users that have a VR headset, you would probably have to do a massive number of rerolls before finding someone that actually has a VR headset.

don't be surprised you encounter lots of these entries, autojoin scripts and idiot-idlers can't read. 🤷

it's a custom rule so it will be ignored.

One way is to make invite only giveaway and then opening a thread where people can request to enter... but it's more work for you...
