Should i get Deus Ex Mankind Devided?

You should definetely buy it!
Yes
No
Dont even think about buying this trash!

I've finished it not even a month ago and remember nearly nothing from it. For me it was a merely "OK", with decent gameplay (also, pacifist was ridiculously easy) and passable story and characters. It's not bad, it's just bland imo.
Anyway, there's no chance that it will have a lower price during the winter sale.

NO!

Why?

Denuvo

Good point. Although I think I'll still buy it at some point, which makes me a bit hypocritical.

Absolutely, just what I was thinking this morning. Even though Mad Max is on a crazy discount, I'll not support Denuvo no matter what.

it's a shame there are so many good games out there that have denuvo

It seems that there is no trace of Denuvo in the Linux version, both for Deus Ex than for Mad Max.

All the more reason for me to consider switching to linux after I finish with win7!

Thanks for sharing the good news about it being free of Denuvo on linux!

Pirates started so many myths about denuvo that it made "cool" to hate it on it now. The SSD writing is fake, so is no mod support. Also that the program requires internet every X days. Or that it makes the FPS go down or the game have more bugs.

The only true limitations of it is the 5 installs a day (which is completly reasonable), the activation when you first install it or update it (which you need internet to do so anyway) and the fact that servers may go down in the future (but then so does steam). When GFWL was SUPPOSED to go down (it actually didnt) plenty of developers removed it from their games, which was a harder process since it have embedded features like multiplayer\community on it, and in denuvo case you can simply strip it.

Please site some reliable sources for this change of information on Denuvo. I am curious to do some research. It always helps to know the facts.

What change of information? The fact that SSD is fake? No one ever provided proof save a edited screenshot. There is 2 videos of a guy running games with it with no significant activity, such as here and here. And lets say it was true. If there was so much read\write on SSDs, normal HDs wouldnt cope with it so it would simply not work on them.

Mod support, you can check God Eater fan translation, dragon age inquisition mods at nexus mods or even better the two thousands mods for warhammer.

Also no proof was given that games have lower performance or make the game buggier (no one ever done a comparison test between those games), so theres no way to disprove that. So yes its just FUD made discred it.

Some more info at Warhammer denuvo FAQ.

If you liked Human Revolution then by all means, go ahead and enjoy yourself. It won't be cheaper during Winter Sales (at least on Steam that is).

1/3 of the price 4 months alter release. Wait till summer sale you will probably be able to buy it for €5.

I saw the price and thought it was definitely worth it, then I remembered that it would have a bunch of dlc and would get a goty type collection so decided that would be the best time to buy.

For my part I LOVED Human Revolution. I played Mankind Divided to the end (base game without DLCs) and found it an enjoyable game, but far, far away from the deep of the previous one. I'd say while it's a decent game it's a mediocre Deus Ex.
So to answer the question: it depends on your will to play it, and the expectations you have. They will make you enjoy your buy, or regret it. This price is not bad, anyway, for an AAA game from 6 months ago.

Well i really dont understand why not get a good game even if it has denuvo...anyway everyones point seems valid so i guess ill save my money for winter sale

While many players just circlejerk about it because they don't want third-party DRMs (although technically, Denuvo isn't DRM by itself) in their games, there's a big concern about Denuvo, which I explained in this comment: https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/s9F2DoE

TL;DR: Denuvo-protected games need to be validated online, so if their servers ever go offline, you won't be able to play the games you legally bought.
Although apparently, publishers are allowed to patch out Denuvo when they feel it's done its job, so there's at least a bit of hope.

At the same rate Mike, Valve can just tell everyone that they don't own their steam library. Digital ownership sucks the big one.

I don't understand hate for Denuvo. IMHO whatever will prevent/slow down piracy, I'll support it 100%

I thought about it for 3 seconds, and figured that even if I buy it it will be on sale for winter sale. So, I would probably get cards for that. Still I don't think I'll buy it at the current state.

Bought one copy for a friend for her birthday because she's a huge Deus Ex fan, but will probably hold off on getting this one for myself, especially with so many other great games to play.

If you're planning on playing it right this minute, then I say go for it. If you're not going to play it immediately, then sales will only make it less expensive over time.
