How to be famous on youtube?

Well. Let's start by saying you have 191 subscribers, So stop feeling unlucky, Some can't even get that. Secondly, You post hardly any content, if you want to even have a little chance at becoming 'big' You NEED to post regular content otherwise people will unsubscribe (Especially with gameplay videos) Thirdly, If you want any chance at ever becoming anything, You need to talk! Commentary is very important in making sure that game play videos are not boring! Fourthly, Put out content people want to see if you want to get 'big' If you want to get big, rather than just doing for a hobby without a care who watches that is.

Or you know someone already known on youtube or you have to do something really entertaining and original on your channel, sorry to say that but in this period all the people make a gaming channel(maybe cause they think they are good at games and also entertaining when they are not) thinking that they'll be known but the fact is that there are a few known gaming channel, that started in the right period, and millions of other gaming channel with hundred mediocre videos with 6/7 view each one. I will suggest to not lose your time in posting gameplay video(especially if, as I saw in the video I opened in your channel, you don't talk, comment, say something funny and so on). It's not to be bad with you but there are really to much of this kind of channels, so I will suggest instead of posting random video to start examine on youtube what people like and want and to try to think something original(not necessarily related to games) and start making something that you also would look if someone else would do it and also to not create yourself illusions of what your gaming channel could become.

Be interesting and funny. Tag your videos with all the popular search terms, even if it's completely unrelated. Do stuff nobody else is doing. Be very lucky :P

I don't have any tips, but I wish you the best of luck, because there are way too many people out there right now trying to become 'youtube famous'. So it's not gonna be easy for sure. But your videos look pretty nice, so hopefully you can pull it off! ^^

My take on it;

You should post vids because you like to play and post them. If you aim at getting popular, you might get disappointed.
Also Let's Plays, commentary vids are usually popular. Personally, I especially like blind let's plays when the gamer also pays attention to the story and does not mock the game too much. Like how psychedelic snake actually knew what to do and knew exactly what was going on in the story inbetween his freakouts (and swearing ;)), when I as viewer did not know what was going on.

Also stuff like edited gameclips (like self made scenerio's from gmod, or the stuff Manslayer posts).

But I do like that you posted multiplayer gameplay of Alien: Colonial Marines without commentary. Sometimes I just want to see how to play a certain class or the story without commentary ^^

I have actually noticed a very common theme as far as annunciation goes. Check out PressHeartToContinue and sxephil, their speech pattern is practically the same (and very annoying IMO). These are just two examples, but I have come across this dozens of times, I just dont keep note and later forget, because as I said, very annoying.

I think it is always best to make gameplay video of latest indie games. I don't think many people will search for Aliens Colonial Marines gameplay video after the game was reviewed as a poor game.
