Nope, I'm just saying having groups in this community regarding whatever characteristic of yours is a flawed concept which can only lead to elitism, racism and communautarism. Because in the case of steamgifts being part of certain groups grant you privileges, so it's not only in good fun. It's about favorizing and sharing only with your own people.

It's just the total opposite of what I do like about the internet. It's like we are just copying what makes the actual world suck so much.

It's ok to have your own identity, but to reject people because of theirs is something which shouldn't be expected here. Internet is "should be" all about your mind, not your wealth nor your culture or blood.

If some people are living in Germany, then it means they're people with a common factor.
Wouldn't you perfer your friends had common factors with you?
There are different hypes and fields of interest in different areas in the world, so if you want to play with people who've got common interests with you (like, lets say, a local band you like, or whatever) then the chances you'll find such people are so much higher with people in your region.
Also, they might be bad with English and rather speak German or something simple and innocent as that.
Yeah, it annoys me too when I get banned from a region-blocked server, but it's entirely understandable why are such servers being created, and it's not out of racism (atleast... most of the times :P).

Your people might have lots of these, and so do the Jews. I'd explain further but what else is there to say? I find this part of your comment completely unecessary. But that might be just me.
