I assume Humble Bundle has some sort of bot protection or it is too much of a hassle to register a large amount of bots. Hence it's easier to get keys from discussions like this one. Hence why there are so many ninja's in key drop threads (since no one wants to expose their bots, or extreme hoarding behavior). Some people also don't want to link their Steam profile to their Humble Bundle account (which is sometimes required) or don't want to sign up for Humble Bundle's promotional emails (which is also sometimes required). Most people will never even touch those games, but just want to add them to their collections. Anyone truly interested in playing those games will indeed most likely get their keys from Humble Bundle. Again I'm not calling anyone out, just making a general statement.

I did something similar on another site and suddenly all these users popped up we hadn't heard from before.
I get it that some people like to lurk but still... never a thanks or whatnot.
Some peeps are running major amounts of bot accounts on steam and i don't mean 4 or 5 accounts.
