Absolutely loved that game. None of the later Spidermans had such in-depth combat

Deadpool made sense in a way, to generate hype for the upcoming movie without extra effort and all that.
This... I dunno. Maybe Activision came to the conclusion that PC gaming is a good place for cult classics ?
(Never played this, but seems it's worth checking out at some point anyway..)

Please don't tell me they're making another Amazing Spider-Man movie.

They are making another reboot with Tom Holland as Parker. Old news.

Never heard much about it since it was only announced.
But that's good news. I think.

I was referring to the Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movie. For which I can only say that the trailer alone is more entertaining than Fox's latest Fantastic Four fuckup.
And Tom Holland as (teenage) Spiderman may not get his own movie soon, but he will be popping up in other Marvel movies, with Cap America Civil War being the first appearance.
(Given the somewhat unique role Spidey plays in the comic book version of Civil War, it should be a good way to introduce the new version in the Marvel Universe here, and shortcutting past doing the whole "bitten by a spider" origin story again)

If it only was some serious spider-man game, not some hack'n'slash, focused only on fighting, repetitive and boring as shit game with character you could replace with any other with same "success"...
They could make it more like Batman but with much more freedom, with open or semi open world, with less direct fights (without auto-aimed, one button combo system), with more roleplaying, much darker and serious atmosphere, etc. Game should be much harder, requiring from player to think out of the box, rewarding being creative and using player's own skill.

I hope they bring back X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Maybe Blur too, but that is highly unlikely.

Bleh, more expensive here, I'll have to go trading when its on sale.
I did like the DS version of that and Web of Shadows, and Amazing Spider-Man was enjoyable, on both PC (though glitchy as ****) and 3DS. I'm willing to play this sooner or later.

Is it some kind of remaster? I mean I think "Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions" release long time ago back in 2010 right?

It was not, strange that they added the app to steam 2 years ago but never released it until now.

I already own the retail version (that was a thing back in the day)

They probably had to renegotiate the licenses with Disney.

It's a good game, but there is still no reviews to determine the quality of the port and the price is keeping me from testing it myself. I guess I could buy it and then refund for testing purposes, but I wouldn't keep it at that price. I'll just wait.

Well outta nowhere it got released in Steam today I guess. What's up with Activision renewing their old licenses suddenly, first it was Deadpool now this.
