Do you enjoy listening to epic music?
Not sure if Epic Music is strictly a specific genre or subjective feelings is good enough. Just going by the latter, here’s one that sounds “epic” and also highly energetic.
Maksim Mrvica - Croatian Rhapsody
And does something with lyrics count? Another music I love anyway that also fits your description to me.
Celtic Thunder - Take Me Home
Miguel Ríos - A song of joy
Could have looked up “Epic Music” more and checked my music list better if I were home, but first things that came to my mind while on mobile.

Oh wow! Croatian Rhapsody is really awesome, thanks a lot! :)
The latter two don't really fit the "epic music" label, but I absolutely love the harmonies in Take Me Home - If I can find it on Spotify, it's definitely going into my playlist :) A song of joy sounds a bit too much like a Christmas song though hehe :P

Glad you liked at least one of them. Like I said, is it the lyrics that's the problem?
Well, Song of Joy is just Beethoven Symphony 9 with lyrics. Just a while ago a song came up on my radio that I thought was Song of Joy, but turned out to be Andy Williams - Words. Just in case you might prefer that alternate lyrics, not as a Epic Music suggestion. Tone isn't too different though.

Epic music is exclusive to Epic Game Store only
And thanks for your tips, I'll listen all of your tracks later, love this style since Skyrim.

Used to be into it, but not much anymore. I used to listen to TSFH non-stop, but now I mostly listen to electronic music (Teminite, Steam Phunk, TheFatRat, Hinkik, Au5, Chime, Tokyo Machine, EnV, Virtual Riot, to name a few). If anything, I absolutely love the combination of electronic music with orchestral elements.
Check out Gareth Coker, composer of the Ori and the Blind Forest OST, he has a playlist from other games/media as well, all extremely good.

Dream Tag Match from the Dragonball Super Tournament of Power. It's so epic that it's even the ringtone on my phone.

I wanted to recommend Antti Martikainen but someone just beat me to it.
Also not sure if it fall within the "epic music" category but you can have a listen at Apocalypse Orchestra or Skiltron. Those two are more on the metal side of the spectrum.

Extended versions are the best. I'll just post a couple of examples I've been listening to recently.

Posting once more.
Animusic - Harmonic Voltage
Animusic - Heavy Light
Or anything else from them. But their official channel only has a sample so you have to look up their work titles and search individual videos or playlists. Like here, but I know there's more.

Baba Yetu is astounding! I love it a lot :) Adiemus seems to be in a similar vein - should be an interesting dig through YT :D
I'll check out the Interstellar OST as well, thanks! :) I think Hans Zimmer has some great tracks, but I still think TSFH is most definitely leading the pack when it comes to epic music!

Oh, sorry for replying twice here, but I forgot to ask - have you heard of the cover version of Baba Yetu by Peter Hollens and Malukah? They introduced the song to me and made me an instant fan :)

Epic rock music.
Jim Steinman used to make the epic, romantic, dramatic hits for Meat Loaf.
Meat Loaf's hits Bat Out Of Hell and Paradise By The Dashboard Light, both written by Steinman, tell a clear story, using not only the lyrics but the instruments as well. Like the motorcycle revving up and eventually crashing with the guitar and the beating heart, escaping from our hero's chest with the drums.
Steinman also produced the album Original Sin for his girl band Pandora's Box.
He also wrote the lyrics to a Andrew Lloyd Webber written song A Kiss Is A Terrible Thing To Waste for the musical Whistle Down The Wind.
Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young, written by Steinman, is my favorite song ever. <3

Rush Garcia makes remixes that might fit what you're looking for: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVFlL4Hk6ik
Makkon is another good one, though he hasn't made any new music in a while: https://www.youtube.com/user/makkon06/videos

Not gonna lie, that first minute of the Ori OST game me some weird anxiety, but holy, so much is packed in that track. Like it goes from this to that, then to this again... If that make sense, it's pretty great though. I'm gonna listen to the rest of Makkon's music too, I think there's more that I might like. Great picks, thank you bringing these up.

e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVvIXmrDs4c (esp. the latter ones.8min ongoing.) Gosh i love LOTR :D
or the somewhat longer soundtrack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SBQvd6vY9s
So i somewhat like some spinoffs like Clamavi De Profundis (more Hobbit themed)

Thanks again! I need to start compiling another playlist just for movie OSTs and this'll help a lot :)
Edit: Oh, I've just recalled that I used to love Avatar's OST as well. Gonna dig that up again :) Thanks for the memory jog!

uh Avatar. Good one! Almost forget about his one! Thanks a lot for this flashback :D
when you do a OST playlist: dotn forget "Gladiator" (Soundtrack by Hans Zimmer - nice entry: "Now we are free" ) Great Film either!
If you own Amazon Prime, there is a whole Hans Zimmer concert on it. (called "hans zimmer live" - how original - but i much enjoyed it!)
One take from it (with "now we are free" : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1UiD2sxoWo)

Credits to Lisa Gerrard, the voice behind that album.
Something awesome about this song is that it an official language.
Lisa Gerrard on Now We are free:
I sing in the language of the Heart. It's an invented language (Idioglossia) that I've had for a very long time. I believe I started singing in it when I was about 12. Roughly that time. And I believed that I was speaking to God when I sang in that language.
Kinda how Adiemus and Era sing. Beautiful, Melodious heart warming but no words

I discovered this genre of music a bit late I guess - back when I was in uni and I needed something - anything - to help me focus while I study. A friend recommended that I Google "Epic music", did that, stumble upon some tunes on YouTube, and never looked back since! :)
It's like the music is telling a story that evokes strong feelings, and it's bringing you along for the ride. Your emotion soars with when the notes soar and when they plummet, your emotion goes down as well - it can be quite the roller-coaster sometimes :P
Plus, the music never gets old - I can listen to the same music again and I'd feel the same way about the music like the first time I've heard it - and I can just loop my playlist of epic music over and over :)
My all-time favorite composer is definitely Thomas Bergersen and his colleagues over at Two Steps from Hell (their most recent work - Bravestone), but I also enjoy listening to mostly Celtic/fantasy tunes from smaller but very talented composers on YouTube like Peter Crowley, and Adrian von Ziegler
Tokio Myers is another talented musician/composer - check out his most popular track so far Bloodstream. Found him via BGT and he's just incredible both live (just check out his BGT vids) and in the studio.
Other notable composers of epic music (in no particular order):
-- I highly recommend checking out his Approaching the Summit album, with Aeons being my favorite among the lot :)
This is probably more classical than epic :P
I'm not sure if these count as Epic Music but if you're an electronic music fan, you might want to give them a try :)
Note that besides the few Soundcloud and Spotify links, the rest are YouTube links.
Oh and although this isn't epic music, I'll just put this out there :P - Melodysheep - especially if you like techno and science, check out its Symphony of Science series. This one "by" auto-tuned celeb scientists plus Morgan Freeman is (still) my favorite of the lot :)
Do you guys and gals like to listen to epic music? Which music/composers do you listen to? Put your recommendations below - I could use a bit more epic music in my life right now :)
What is Epic Music?
I've noticed that a lot of people have not heard of this (relatively new?) music genre, and for some reason, I can only find the Dutch version of the wikipedia page for the term.
Used Google translate and this is what I get:

P/S: That 4th poll option is a joke... a lame one at that, but it's still a joke... so please don't flame me in the comments >.<
