I have won a fake GA, what do I do next?

Hi, this is my first bad experience in SG, I have won a fake giveaway (lucky me!), the creator published a game and gave me the key of a free game instead, and he didn't answer my message. My questions are:
1) What do i do next? should i wait for a week and then click in "Not Received" ? or should i do something else?
2) Will I get any problems if during this period i get to win SGTool protected giveaway?

Yes, this is the correct course of action. Leave a message in the giveaway as well saying what the problem is, if you've not already done so.

No, as long as you don't mark it as received, you'll be fine.

You don't know if its fake - maybe giveaway creator put wrong key.
Write about this in ga-description and wait 7 days.
And then click "Not Received"

I did it as soon as try the key, lets hope your right, but i´m not very optimistic about that

Medieval mercs was free before so it's removed from GA list entirely. Wanker tried to push his free game somehow.

If I win a gift, when can I expect to receive it?

  • Giveaway creators are allowed one week to send the gift after the giveaway has ended. Depending on the type of gift and the giveaway creator, you might receive the gift to the e-mail address you have listed on the account page, a key might be added beside the gift you won, or the giveaway creator might have sent you a friend request on Steam to make the exchange. Please remain patient, and do not contact the giveaway creator during this time. If the gift is not received after one week, you can mark the gift as not received, and attempt to contact the giveaway creator on Steam to follow-up.

As a side-note, any other games or software which the winner might send to you are yours to keep and have no bearing on whether or not the promised gift has been received. If he sent you Fallout 4 while still failing to deliver the Bad Rats he promised, the gift is still "not received" and should be marked as such.

Yes, i did read that. But i wasn´t sure if it was exactly the same not receiving any key than receiving a key that wasn´t the promised one.

in the last 3 months I won 2 games that in the end I did not get, in one case he had no key for that game (it was used), in my second case the same game I won he already had in his library and played so I thought I will get it but I did not get it unfortunately and both of them I put on the black list and moved on, hoping to win these two games again.

Stats bottom graph. it's less than 1% chance of getting a fake key. you hit the lotto in those regards.

have 1 dup key and 2 not send key..
