Help a dood to choose a game D:

Well... this seems silly, but i have troubles choosing which game to purchase... i have a couples of candidates and only money enough for 1 of them... so im having a hard time making the final choice... so, i will ask help from the nice ppl in SG! D:

In the poll i will put the candidates and i will take a choice according the final votes in a couples of hours, and yes, there will be a GA in a later time D:

Btw, im looking for a GOOD and LONG metroidvania, any suggestion? D:

i voted for HoMM6 because:

only played that game from you list
obviously i enjoyed it
i would have voted Transistor, but had a feeling it will get all the votes. and i didn't want HoMM6 to feel left out. (didn't checked before voting)
currently playing HoMM5 (from Steam), but they got a bundle at GOG. if you had HoMM3 on that list it should have won.
Potato of might and magic sounds better than Potransistor ;)

Axiom Verge is a great metroidvania, around 12-15 hours long.

Another game that I could recommend is Ys Origin, it's not a metroidvania by definition, but it's very close and it's a very fun action game with a lot of great boss fights and 3 different characters with their own style of play that make the game completely different on each playthrough.

I'd recommend unepic, it's hilarious, I think it lasts far more than 10 hours long (I've spent 28 h, but I'm not the fastest player) and if you want to complete every achievement it can become pretty challenging. Bonus: you may get it for some cards in the trade section.

A wide variety of genres you have listed there in the pool, which genre is your favorite?

Of all the metroidvanias on Steam, none of them are particularly long, but Valdis Story: Abyssal City is really good.

My favorite is RPG and strategy. But i like to try different games to change the theme from time to time D:
Yep, is a wide variety because all those im interested in trying out, specially starbound and H1Z1 (mostly for the multiplayer).

Then Transistor is right up your alley. RPG and Strategy galore in that one, especially in battles. It's quite difficult until you master mixing up your abilities and utilizing the stop-time/plan moves system it has.

For multiplayer, I wouldn't recommend Starbound. I haven't played H1Z1, but for Starbound it's really tough to find a decent server that isn't full of trolly kids. That's best played alone or with friend(s) on a private server. Great game though, despite all the hate it gets. It's still being updated, albeit slowly. Perhaps get that next time!

Banished is very difficult for newcomers, and has somewhat of a steep learning curve, I had to look up a tutorial video for it, but once I understood everything it became a lot of fun. Still challenging though.

Haven't played any of the HoMM games except for the puzzle-like one, which was decent. I heard each installment is quite different from the others.

Everyone is voting Fallout: New Vegas here, but I can't really give you my take on it since I haven't played it for more than 15 minutes. So...sorry about that! ^^;

I've played Fallout New Vegas and Starbound from your list and I personally recommend Starbound. I've played over 120 hours in it and there's lots of cool stuff in it.

fallout NV is kinda expensive, knowing that sometimes was cheaper. Still a great great GREAT game.
