Team Fortress 2 Halloween event has started!

Hey guys, so the halloween event recently started.
I've been playing for approximately 4 hours so far and had no luck getting the halloween gift.
Would anyone be as kind to host a steamgifts.com private server with a password that has 10/11 slots in it? It would be of great apprecation.

Open your Team Fortress 2. The Halloween background is open and I can now successfully unlock the candy coroner and other achievements on the Halloween map.

I've unlocked the Candy Coroner 2 months ago, just playing on a server that always repeat the map event. I guess it's not live too.

no it has not. they just turned on the music and the new background. it starts when they release me maps and hats.

i dont know, you can use the hats form last halloween and the taunts, and also there is random scary sounds while playing

Yeah it has. You can unlock the other Halloween achievements, unlike before it you couldn't.
I couldn't unlock candy coroner earlier, but now I can.

You could unlock a bulk of the achievements through a console command without the need of going on a server running them anyway. It was tf_force_holiday 2, if I remember correctly. The only things that wouldn't work with that are the mask collecting and the Horsemann achievements, however.

Nothing new has been aded so far. Wait until its closer to haloween, new maps, new events and hats should bre released.

It has not started! They are just letting the F2P people get a taste of what is to come next week. It does not start until they release new content of some kind.
