Conan the Barbarian was a Mary Sue Gary Stu created by a man who was effectively projecting his ego. The only armor Conan ever needed was that given to him by the plot. Erm, nudity isn't hot when it comes to men. Female chars look better with some skin showing (example: old "classic" Lara Croft was much hotter than the new one) but for males, one of the hottest outfits I can think of:

Well avoid bars if you're planning on trying that experience then, and just rent one when he starts his shift, else chances he'd be drunk already are high - the Japanese like to drink, and if a customer offers drinks the "rentboy" is expected to drink along, although some "providers" have a no-alcohol policy.

Female characters in games often tend to wear inappropriate outfits which show their big breasts and slender bodies to good effect. These clothes aren't good for protection from weapons or from weather, but hey, they're hot.
So what would a male equivalent be? Is there anything male characters could wear that women would find hot?
Edit: As CCL666 said, I was more interested in "impractical" clothes, i.e., clothes that wouldn't be a fit for what the character is suppose to do, but would be worn for effect.
