Where did you get that he invented kickstarter? :/

It was a reference to him saying that it would be good if projects were community funded so it would be easier to finance products.

He didn't invent Kickstarter, but I can quite see he PREDICTED it

well I don't know when the interview was, but the date for the video upload was 3-ish months after Kickstarter was founded, so it is quite possible that he had the idea because of Kickstarter.

Pay homage to Gaben daily (visit the steam store) & give tribute as well (place a taco next to your computer)

If you go that way a lot of people have invented the Occulus rift or Facebook. That's just an idea, ideas are nothing until you use them.

Gabe doesn't care about non Americans. He likes to hide behind saying (as the more brainwashed fanbois also like to endlessly and mindlessly repeat) that valve has zero influence in the pc gaming industry, or digital distribution market, so have no clout at all to try and influence the publishers.

You know... Because valve is a small company, and steam doesn't matter in the slightest to pc gaming, and publishers don't care about it (extreme sarcasm for those that can't pick it)

This is not about Kickstarter. This about what is currently known on Steam as Early Access :)
On Kickstarter devs won't get money unless project is successfully funded so they still have a bit of restriction on their creativity. On early access it's like Gaben said, whoever likes the idea (my prediction is that games will be put on Early access in earlier and earlier stages of development, not late betas like it's now) can instantly give money to the dev and support the development.

Also, this video is a go-to in every discussion about piracy, thank you for that cause I haven't seen it before :)

What actually happens when a game doesnt have enough money to finish a game on early acces but there are already people that have payed for the game?

I believe Steam will give refunds

Interesting question, if you think about it.
We can only speculate, but I would guess game will stay in early access and be put on sales so that devs can get money to finish the game (like recently Godus was on the frontpage of autumn sale even though it's only in Early Access).
