This War of Mine: Stories - Season Pass

This sale actually prompted me to purchase from two other storefronts that had better prices in addition to a few decent deals on Steam. (And then Fanatical abruptly dropped their discount without warning, so I didn't even buy that game at all. 😝)
All in all not a super exciting sale, but honestly that's what I prefer these days. No scrambling to get amazing deals before they're gone, less pressure on the backlog (and the wallet).

I was close to buying a few more DLCs, but ultimately all I ended up getting was:
Pathfinder Kingmaker: Season Pass Bundle (7,87€)
Comment has been collapsed.
I went WAY overboard and bought some triple A stuff that I never thought I would have bought before the sale actually started
I got...
Resident Evil 3
Zombie Army 4: Dead War + Way too much DLC
Wolfenstein 3D
Wolfenstein 3D: Spear of Destiny
Garfield Kart - Furious racing
City Of Brass
THE KING OF FIGHTERS '97 GLOBAL MATCH
and my last minute, I need to hurry up and buy something before it ends pick was...
SteamWorld Dig 2
I also got good deals on two 3rd party keys that were much lower during the sale than they are normally. Those were for...
Daymare: 1998
and
Street Fighter V - Champion Edition Upgrade Kit

For the first time in years, nothing actually.
Couldn't find any game I particularly desired and resisted the urge to buy a few dlcs for games I've yet to play.
Kinda proud of myself. I might be on the right path healing from my spending addiction.

Main target was Cliff Empire but it wasn't on sale. Bought Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic instead in the end though I'm not sure it will run well on my PC. Might have to refund it.
And a few cheap games:
ISLANDERS
Pilgrims
50 years
Bug Academy
CAT Interstellar

I also bought ISLANDERS and I can only recommend it I already have around 10 hours in it and its really fun

Phew... Now it's official, I'm pathetic and have got no will power at all. Literally 15 minutes before the sale end I gave up and added The Walking Dead: Saint and Sinners and Subnautica to my purchases. I've spent about $100 for an insanely long list of games bought, and that's considering that I've got Russian prices. Never have spent that much during a Steam sale before.

Maybe you wanna reframe that a little:
Phew... Now it's official, I'm wonderful and have so much love for myself. Literally 15 minutes before the sale end I caved in and treated myself to The Walking Dead: Saint and Sinners and Subnautica to my purchases. I've spent about $100 for an incredibly long list of games bought, and that's considering that I've got Russian prices. Never have spent that much during a Steam sale before. It's gonna be so much fun!

Apparently you still remain the kindest person on this forum 💙

I'm sure you won't regret buying Subnautica, it's a great game. ^^
I would however recommend installing some quality of life mods... at least, the map one and MoreQuickSlots. Some people prefer the vanilla game, but I enjoyed Subnautica even more with a few mods installed.

Thank you, those mods do look like something I will need indeed.

In my humble opinion, I think they are a must-have. (I don't think there is a map in the vanilla game... O_o I would have been so lost without that mod) And I had a few others installed as well. I was lucky enough to get Subnautica on sale when it was still in early access for 11$. I played a bit when it was in EA and felt slightly overwhelmed by the crafting, but was amazed by the overall atmosphere. It really makes you feel like it's an alien world. The soundtrack is amazing. I came back to the game last year, this time with mods. Started anew. Oh boy, what a trip it was! It took me about 26 hours to finish the story... so it's not that long but even at (how much was it on sale? 15$?), if you like underwater games, it's definitely a good deal. Just wait... when you meet your first Leviathan. What a t(h)reat. :3

When I played Subnautica I missed the map initially. But I think ultimately you will experience a very different and more exciting game, if you should also pass on the map. Only when you go deep underground in the end game, you actually might really benefit from using one.

Baldur's Gate 1/2: Enhanced Edition and other stuff for completion of The Infinity Collection - tried 1st original game and can't past its 15x10 characters gameplay area w/o zooming and overall low-res, pixelated graphics by today standarts.
Mortal Kombat XL - soon in 5 years will be removed like MK9.
OVIVO - cheap indie game with great reviews.
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood / II: The New Colossus / Youngblood - still frustrated that I couldn't catch Prey Digital Deluxe for 80% off, so bought this to not fall in tears again.
Premier Manager 02/03, 03/04, 04/05, 05/06, 06/07, 08, 09, 10 - guess I was the only buyer of that combo during the sale!
eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE MANCHESTER UNITED EDITION - cause it contains M and U, that's a red flag for me.
Unstoppable Gorg - long waited discount case.
Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri - 1st game of LGS with deepest discount ever (also waiting for Shattered Steel for the same price).
Gas Guzzlers: Combat Carnage / Aqua Moto Racing Utopia / Snow Moto Racing Freedom - wroom-wroom, racing!
LEGO DC Super-Villains Deluxe Edition - lowest price ever.
LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Season Pass - completed the game edition.
MotoGP™15 Compact / Valentino Rossi The Game Compact - just to waste some money.
Total spent: around $24,08.

Dunno where, it was $0,21 per game on Steam itself.

I wasnt planning on buying anything, but I just couldn
t resist to grab at least SOMETHING before the sale`s end. Especially since I paused this month HB.
Wolfenstein Old Blood
Wolfenstein II New Colossus
Wolfenstein Youngblood
Thronebreaker : Witcher Tales

Couldn't decide until the last hour of the sale, but in the end I chose "Hunt: Showdown". To be honest, I was thinking about buying it for about 6 months now, I just finally decided that Crytek will never drop the price any lower than 50%, so I might as well get it now and start learning the game.

I really like it, but holy shit I didn't expect how how hard it is. Obviously, I knew that it's a hard game, but I didn't realize how much harder it would be that other games: any decent player can hear you from half the map away, even if you don't shoot, trigger sound traps or run. The only way to get better is to keep playing and learn from your mistakes.

Ended up buying (other than Way of the Samurai 4) was SNK Heroines and Blade Arcus. Within 20 minutes of my playing SNK Heroines, I requested a refund. The gameplay is crap, and there's no choice of costumes at the start other than the stupid ones that you see in the vids. No thanks, if I want to play a fighting game with primarily girls, I'll stick with Arcana Heart -or- Dead or Alive 5 :P
EDIT: Oh, I bought a couple of build-a-bundles as well, but that's not exactly the Steam summer sale is it? Got Overpass, DarQ, Biped, PES 2021, Monster Truck Championship & WRC 8 I then purchased LEGO Incredibles as well.

Bought Spooky Starlets: Movie Monster, but refunded, since it really wasn't what I expected.
Also got 80 Days and ISEKAI Quest. Cost being $5.19 and $2.79, which was actually cheaper when buying on my local currency, Real. Worst thing is, I've given both games a try already and they really didn't do it for me. ISEKAI was a huge letdown regarding the match-3 system (even more when I compare it to the excellent Mirror) and 80 Days has some kinda annoying systems that made me feel a bit overwhelmed.
I got a 100% Orange Juice DLC as well (new characters), but I don't count it as a summer sale purchase, since I instabought when it became available on the store.

I spend around 300 usd (regional prices) jeje, +40 games but I dont really want to write all of them.
Is the most I have spend on Steam in one sale but I did it because it was my 10th anniversary on Steam (yay!) and I wanted to buy those games I always pushed back time and time again every sale in favour of newer games. Also I have been payed lots of overtime and I had extra money to spend.

With regional pricing all eight of them costed a total of 20$.

The classic boasting thread and almost the only reason why we still keep buying games during those sales, right?
You are free to include purchases from other stores or systems, besides Steam/PC.
