and sorry for your loss. I try to refrain from trades that are done outside the trade window. You never know if the guy is credible if he has little rep.

Maybe you can open a PayPal dispute, to claim your money back.

if you didn't sent money as a gift you are pretty safe, and your friend has pretty lost 7 keys :D

i got scammed in dogecoin trade, asked for chargeback, use the "goods not received" or something like that,
Then if he says something like "we are investigating blablabla..." you reply aggressive with "this contestation will become a denunciation in date"
If you get your money back, keep in mind that i helped you :C

Damn mate sorry to hear that. I've been selling keys lately too and was lucky enough to not meet anyboy who trie to scam me. It happens mate, just learn from it and move on

"He sent me 7 keys, and I sent my payment through paypal" so in reality he didn't sent you the keys? Cause as you explained seemed he sent them before you paid him.

I think PP always accept charge-backs especially if you claim that it was unauthorized transaction "aka account was hacked"

Damn, sorry to read that you got scammed, I guess you can rest easy in the knowledge that you're hardly alone. Scant consolation I know.

I tend to only trade with people in my friendslist and through another gaming site forum because the community there is largely trustworthy(and I don't wish to type the name here because then it will probably become inundated by leechers and scammers). Perhaps finding a small pool of reputable traders is your best course of action. Cheers!
