ultimate for €7,50 and plain for €5 at my store... :/

I've seen it go to $5 some other times, so you can probably wait it out if you're not totally convinced... (like me)

That is the lowest on steam ever. It was lower on amazon but I've been informed it was origin only.

I'm thinking about getting DA:O for steam too.
I already have it as standalone for a couple of years now but I can't add that retail key to steam.
And therefore I already have a bioware account with some unlocked extras for DA:O and DA2. If I now get a steam version can I link that second copy of DA:O somehow with my old bioware account? I don't want to create another bioware account.
Edit: And another problem came up when I tried to login to my bioware account. It seems they completely moved to Origins managment now and my old login don't seem to work and the new login after I reset my password don't seem to work either.
I'll guess that means I keep my paws of a 2nd DA:O

Thanks for the info, It seems I can login on the bioware site aswell now. It took a while after I reset the password but it seems to work now.
Do I understand it correct: I buy for those 5€ the permission to add it to my steam library, can download the files with steam and after starting the game I will be able to use my old login from the retail version?

Well, at least I was able to log in with my old account (didn't make a new one) and it had kept all my info. I did have an issue with the DLC later on but I followed some of the instructions on some thread and they got recognised eventually.
I haven't played the game in quite a while so I can't remember the exact details, sorry for that.

Well even if he manages to login there is an ultra old unfixed bug (it's still an EA game after all) too: Before running Dragon Age, you have to start the process that looks up the DLCs for you. Press [Windows-key]+[R] and type "services.msc". Then activate the Dragon Age updater in the list. Just saying.

Thanks for heads-up, gonna grab a copy :)

You still need a Origin/Bioware account ;)
But yes, even the Origin version runs without Origin required.

Sigh. Bought the Ultimate Edition, even though I got DA:O on Xbox 360... Just couldn't resist for that price... Oh well, it's a good game. It'll be fun playing it again.

$5€ is the lowest it's ever been.

The bonus shiny gear DLC can be obtained through here: http://social.bioware.com/da2/dlc_bundle/
Your Origin login works, if you have it. BioWare Social then lets you register DA:O on your profile, if you're interested in that sort of thing.
