I know exactly what I did on my 21st birthday: I was travelling through Australia and New Zealand and lost completely track of time, so every day was a party - sort off. Didn't notice it was my birthday till later that night my parents called to congratulate me XD

i don't remember but i probably panicked. "i can understand turning 20 but 21?! what's next? 30?!!" nope, i was not drunk. probably.

Happy Birthday! As you get older birthdays aren't about you, it's more an excuse for others to celebrate.
At 21 some friends took me out to a wine bar and then a dive bar. One brought me a cake that was memorable if not good tasting, as it was nearly dripping with rum. Looking back I'm very surprised lighting the candles didn't set it off in a ball of fire.

My birthday was a Sunday, and I was home on leave, so we my dad and brother I and just went out to a bar for some drinks. Nothing special. I haven't had a party for my birthday since I was like 12.
