Dead Island Daily Deal, did they fix SP/Online save bug? otherwise getting it is a waste of money..

I couldn't find a definitive answer online,
some people say they fixed SP, but that it still exists in online games.

And regarding online play, how is it?
Still Alive and kicking or everybody quit by now?

I got it about a month back when on sale and hardly played it due to multiplayer bugs, and single player doesn't hold my interest :( shame because it had potential

i think it is almost as low as it is going to get, at least for a couple of months,
but it is worth it, assuming they fixed the save corruption problems they had.

GOTY is supposed to be on steam in two weeks, then maybe it will be 15$.
But probably not, considering the not very good discounts on this sale.

I played the single player for about an hour. It didn't hold my interest either. The game did seem a little glitchy too, like certain menu options not doing anything. I spent about a half hour in the game just figuring out which options worked and which didn't. I heard that there is a tool called the Dead Island Helper that will tweak the game settings without needing to use the menu options, but I lost interest and never tried it. What I can tell you is that the game never really felt "finished", like the developer released the beta and forgot about it.

Iv'e played it before, a couple of months ago, but didn't (or rather couldn't) try it online.
I actually liked it a lot, but lost my progress and rage quit it.

I want to get it now, but a bug that deletes your entire game progress is definitely a deal breaker.

Already bought it, i hope i won't regret it,
in most places they say that it was fixed, but i'm not sure about online play.

it makes sense that they would by now, as it is the same as selling, say a Computer that just shuts down randomly everyday for no reason at a random time, at full price like a working product.

But who knows, some game companies just don't care.
