the ones asking this aren't even native users man. americans don't care. and this isn't the cold war either.
we don't go to french websites spamming english, we don't use dutch on english sites. what's the use. nobody understands you anyway? if you wanna thank someone, or write a question about a giveaway, and you do it in russian, how are you expecting an answer?

First let me say, I am German. I could easily just type anything here in german. But I don't. Why? Because I respect others people need to understand me. People just writing in other languages don't respect that. They could just call me an asshole and I would not understand it. That is inpolite. And esp. on such a website, which lives from its community, it is of an urgent importance to understand each other.

Since this is mainly an English-language website anyway, I would also like to see this enforced. It's cool if you make a private giveaway in a foreign language if you're only going to share it with people who speak that language, but otherwise it's disrespectful. We can assume that everyone here speaks English (again, since this is mainly an English-language site to begin with), but we can't assume the same for any other language.

Sure it'd be easier for me if everyone spoke Dutch (since it's my first language as well), but I'm not so arrogant that I expect everyone here to speak a minority language, or to deliberately speak in a language that I know most of the people here wouldn't understand.

Ik bedoel, het toont niet echt van respect om een publiek gesprek te houden in een taal die niemand begrijpt. :P

Enough, I made this rule. It is my rule and I would like it to be followed. Get off it, if you cannot type English DO NOT type at all (sorry but I do understand Russian and I can read it and I am tired of the chat being filled with "asshole americans" and shit). If you don't want to follow it, I'll start typing all the languages I know saying bad things and see how you all like it. Don't start with me....I am the WRONG person to start with.
