Looks like you're missing one story achievement from The Hex (That Was Lionel Snill). Let me know once you've got that one.
There's also one other hidden achievement you might want to get, but I didn't get it on my first playthrough (although I'm pretty sure you can just play the last chapter to get it), so I won't demand that one.

Ah sorry for not replying was quite sick yesterday. I kind of hit the credits and ended up going to bed. Probably have to boot it up again since it force closed itself and it probably wants me to go through another story or something haha. Still a bbit sick so I'll probably do that if I don't pass out after work.

Btw got the last achievement and got the hidden achievement. What an ending haha. I definitely have to play through this and get the 100% now.

Okami definitely looks like a fun game, pretty sure I own it and have been wanting to play it. Before I did the challenges here I just wouldn't play anything recently for some reason, but now I feel back in the groove and want to play more games.

And finished. Took me a bit longer than i would like but welp :D Yes. 100% both. Yes.

The Last Express - 7,5h - my time also 21h but i guess 4-5h may have been on afk. I have kids. Yes.

Finally finished! Both games took longer than expected, but I tend to explore and do side quests whenever possible, so it really shouldn't surprise me any more xD
Thief was alright, nothing too special, but Horace was freakin' awesome! I absolutely loved playing it! So thank you! I might have left it sitting in my backlog a little longer if it wasn't for this challenge :D

It's not different endings, just extra scenes that you unlock if you did things right, I only missed one then I just reloaded one of the last saves to do the bad ending
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm a fast reader, I always have a shorter time in games like these, I even did the extras prologue and episode which took about an hour for both.
I'm rather surprised about The Council since you can't advance text and have to listen to the voiced lines, I guess because I didn't explore since I thought the story was rubbish
Comment has been collapsed.
I liked it much more than I expected, especially not being South Park fan (I only watched the firsts seasons many years ago). I was surprised by how engaging and fun the combat is, although on the easy side even on hard difficulty. I really liked the exploration and how the world is filed with secrets.
The story starts quite "normal", but after the first day it goes in really unexpected and weird ways... several times. I quite enjoyed it. It's very South Park.
I'd say you don't need to be a fan of the TV show, but you need to enjoy its kind of humor, otherwise it's hard to recommend.
I also had a Paper Mario itch after watching some streams of the last game, and South Park was a good fix.

Thats similar to my experience ^^ I didnt watch alot of the series but nostalgia and got into the game. Really fun exploring and hitting around for sekrets U enjoy the combat and it was very engaging. Some battles on the harder difficulty can be tough for me. The 2nd game tho, sadly does not look as enjoyable.
Cheers~

All done!
South Park
(I'm not sure there's an achievement for completing the game but there are two that should work for verification, ie "For the Hoarder" and "No Child Left Behind")
The Wolf Among Us
(the completion achievement is "Happily Ever After")
Although I'm going to replay both of them because I'm like one secret loot away from 100% on South Park and I need to find that sucker!
And I want to replay The Wolf Among Us to try other options and see what changes.

It was pretty disappointing. I'm not a fan of time loops in general, but I can cope with it if there's something worthwhile at the end... Sadly, not the case with this one.
If only match-3 part was good... but it's not. There's no way to skip it, so you are just wasting your time every single loop. And in case you fail, it just throws you back to the main menu, which leads to wasting even more of your time if you didn't save.
Well, it was 90% off in just a year since the release. It would be strange to expect something good. :3

I just beat the main campaign of RoN took longer than i expected. There is a point where the Incans still hold 1/3 of the world and i have the option to end the game. I decided to go for total domination, since, well its world domination campaign. That took more time to route them. I'm not too sure if I qualified though since i do not know which achievement you judge RoN base on for completion. :3

Ok, that looks more doable, and I've been playing more than usual recently so I might be able to pull it off.
Now I just need to find two suitable games, I have a pair in mind but I need to check if the estimated times add up to 20 hs. Will edit this comment when I decide on the games.
Edit: I was thinking about The Messenger and Vanquish but it didn't add up so I went for a weird combo, let me know if this will do.
The Messenger - HLTB
HuniePop - HLTB

Thanks. I know myself, I always end up taking about 20% more time than what that site says. I'm also mostly doing this for fun so I don't really mind if I end up not making the cut, don't hesitate in rejecting my entry if I fail, it will motivate me to try again next time and that'll speed up the process of tackling my overgrown backlog :P
Comment has been collapsed.
Honestly, screw HLTB, I'm 16 hours into The Messenger and just now I reached what I assume it's the final level. And I still haven't even touched the DLC. Game's great tho, superb platformer.
I'm out, no way in hell I'll get done with Hunie Pop in time. Really fun challenge tho, I'll definitelly try again if you make a seconds one XD
Comment has been collapsed.
You still have three days. Like I said before, it's only the main game you need to complete. You can play DLC later at your leisure.
I personally gave up on The Messenger, I never felt like I was getting the hang of it, and always seemed to be dying too much. I managed to get through that wizard trial tower or whatever it was called (somehow) and then that boss fight just stopped me dead.
I understand your annoyance at HLTB, it's based on user's reported times, and of course us slow players (yep, me too) often go over that time considerably (especially as I'm a sucker for attempting 100% when I feel I can). I'm currently playing Okami, and should be finishing the game now according to HLTB, with about 43hrs, but still probably see me playing another possibly 20 hours.
Comment has been collapsed.
That boss fight is the mid-point of the game, they introduce the main mechanic/gimmick after it. The way to beat it looks like cheesing it BTW (you climb on the hands and glide over most of the crap it throws at you), so it took me a while to figure it out.
I managed to accrue well over 300 deaths at this point so I feel you, it's not as PTSD levels of dying as some other platformers thankfully, I'm still a bit traumatized by the Electronic Super Joy trilogy.
I'm not giving up only because there's little time left but also cos I didn't like what I played of Hunie Pop so far (the gameplay is not what I expected) and I rather just go on and finish all the content in the Messenger including DLC and extras. I just entered for fun anyway but felt like giving an update.

im still annoyed how I did all but the last section and somehow by the next time I played they went missing. I absolutely hated the zombie mission and never want to it see that rubbish again. I loved rush mode but its not really fit for a giant monster that takes forever to kill with like 5 minions with it. By the time I barely killed 1, I had like 2 more rushing at me making my life hell
Comment has been collapsed.
wow, lots of changes in a short amount of time. The time increase brings it into the "tough but doable" range for me (assuming my new job's hours are as I anticipate) and thank you for the flexibility of 20hrs total rather than 10 hours each. Time to put some thought into what I'd play; I had two games in mind initially that I wanted to play, but I realized I was thinking of the completion / main+extra time rather than the base time.

I think if I do this, I'll likely end up combining this with my PoP games so
STEINS;GATE 0, HLTB 13h50m
and either
Kentucky Route Zero, HLTB 7h48m
or
Dex, HLTB 11h04m

Play or Pay, a group that runs in 3 month cycles [although you can probably join in the middle of it] where everyone selects 2 short , 2 medium, 2 long, and 1 very long game are selected for you to play with a leaderboard of who has played/completed the most.
It looks like the most recent recruitment thread has been closed due to change in admin.

Why Humble Bundle here too, specifically, instead of normal backlog games? Because of the Monthly event I don't have any time realistic HB games left to beat. It'd be easier for me to come up with a way to participate if I had more flexibility in choosing my games.
20+ hours in a week is a bit rough for me right now anyway, I have a summer job and in a week I'm going to begin my move to another town. But thanks for making an event anyway, I love getting new reasons to work on my backlog!
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, I think you have more important things to deal with.
The only reason for HB monthly games was the idea, I did say I was after suggestions, but the main reason for HB is the assumption that one has actually spent money on games and that they’re not freebies.
Comment has been collapsed.
Ah, I see. Some monthly games have ended up being free though, recently Snake Pass is an example of that. If the games having value matters, maybe a no 0 CV games rule would be easier to work with as a participant. Playing 20 hours in a week is a big requirement already.
Comment has been collapsed.
The reason for the 20hrs in a week is because of the game I'm giving away - it's the sort of game to sink an easy 20+ hours into each week cos it demands playing for a few hours each play session. Anyone who can't play two shorter games for that period of time is unlikely to play a much larger game which demand a lot of spare time to play it.
I have loosened the rules.
Comment has been collapsed.
It's a nice thought and I'm not really opposed to the big time sink, for me combining that with a very limited pool of games to play would be very tricky. But I really liked the changes you made, seems a lot more doable now!

A challenge that rewards me for cleaning my backlog? I'd like to see more like this.
Haven't decided yet but I will choose from these:
Comment has been collapsed.
Thanks for the update! Hmm I have a few options, just depending on what I'm feeling like playing this week (that adds up to the 20 HLTB). Even if I get one game off the backlog and don't make the 20 hours, that's a success to me :)

Ended up really enjoying The Walking Dead, so decided on a Telltale theme!

I have two questions: are games with 8~9.5 hours to beat main story in how long to beat eligible? And if i started a long ago and just played for a few minutes and droped, can i start a new save to participate?
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut - 17h main story - https://howlongtobeat.com/game?id=31699

Really awesome idea for a giveaway, and a nice extra push for people to clear their backlog! Just read your reply to someone else about the 20+ hours and that it's based on the game being given away, and I like your thought process on that too! Can't fault you for wanting your game to go to someone who's more likely to play it.
Not too sure about the games having to be from HB Monthly/Choice, but I can understand why you wouldn't want people playing a bunch of free games just to get another free game. spookypannkaka's idea about no 0CV games might work for that though.
EDIT: Just noticed you changed the requirements while I was writing this so you can ignore the last bit :P

Soooo, after going through my library and checking time to beat for each, I've narrowed it down to these at the moment:
Horace (13 hours)
Republique (10 hours)
Masquerada: Songs and Shadows (14 hours)
Thief (11 hours)
Bayonetta (11 hours)
Sunset Overdrive (10 hours)

Awesome! I'll be sure not to combine those 2 :)
Do I have to narrow it down to 2 games now, or can that wait until after? I just don't want to pick 2, start playing, and end up having issues or just not liking the game and wanting to change to another :P

I was a fool for choosing Thief! Too much exploring and and too many side quests keeping me distracted! 7 hours in and I've finished 2 of 8 chapters xD
I'm gonna stick with it though!
Edit: 23 hours later and I've finally beaten Thief! Onto the next game!

I love this idea for an event, but unfortunately the rules seem a bit too strict to participate, in my case at least. If the goal is to play for 20 hours, I wish it could be additive. Like beat one game that requires 20+ hours, or beat 4 games that require ~5 hours each, etc. I have a ton of games that hover around the 8.5 - 9.5 hour mark in terms of regular beating time according to HLTB (but would count if going by completion times), so they miss the mark for eligibility. Other games I'm seeing in my list are 15+ hours, which isn't bad, just a bit trickier to fit in 30 hours vs 20 hours in 10 days.
Since we have time before the event starts, I'll look through my library some more to see what might work, but at a glance I'm seeing most of my games are just shy of meeting the requirements or overshoot them. Regardless, I love any events that help tackle backlogs, so thanks for hosting this! Hopefully I find something that works. :D
Comment has been collapsed.
I've just been going through my library to find games around the 10 hour mark and it's harder than I first thought it would be. I've found plenty that are less than 10 hours, of varied amounts, and others that are waaaaay over! Perhaps allowing people to beat a minimum of 2 games (more if required), as long as the combined time to beat is over 20 hours would make it easier for everyone?
Comment has been collapsed.
Neat idea! I'll not be participating this time as I'm not interested in the prize, but it's a great idea and I hope you continue with it. Perhaps in future events you could seek community donations? That could sweeten the prize and ease the burden on your own wallet.
Also, for future events I was wondering if you would you consider entries that have less than an hour previously played? I have an older computer and try to test all my purchases before the refund period expires, but then might take a long time to get back to them.
Comment has been collapsed.
I'd only be doing this once a month at most, so it's not too big a deal.
If others want to donate giveaways, that's up to them though :)
It looks like you have a problem with starting too many games and not finishing them! :P
I can't help you with that, it gets tricky if I allow games that have been started - one can play in offline mode without time being logged, for example - so it makes it a bit messy.
based on the games you have played, I don't think your game is that old, I would suspect mine is probably older (I'm still rocking a 1st gen i5 - when they were only dual-core!)
Comment has been collapsed.
So would something like Hitman: Absolution (which I've only "played" for 5 minutes) with a beatable time of 12,5 hours and Sniper Elite V2 with a beatable time of 7 hours work (19,5 hours), or it must be definitely over the 20 hours? I'm thinking of playing them next, but I could wait a few days before I start them. And what happens if I finish the game(s) with a lower playtime than the estimated by HLTB?
Updated with links to my achievements: Hitman Absolution and Batman: The Telltale Series;

I thought I'd try my hand at an event. This is similar to cjcomplex's "Monthly in a Month" whereby you play 6 games within a month.
Mine is tentatively called "2 Games In 10 Days", or “The 20 hour Challenge”
Depending on how well received it is, I might make it a semi-regular thing.
THE EVENT HAS ENDED! The giveaway has now started.
Invites have been sent out. The giveaway lasts for 1 week.
FUN FACTS:
Rules Of Event:
The event will start and end within a specific time of 10 days as announced by myself
Play any TWO games that require a combined total of 20 hours or more to beat, within the event time *
Games must meet these requirements (and are subject to further discretion by myself):
Comment with the games you'd like to play; I also recommend having a backup game, just in case you don't like one of your first picks.
PLEASE post with links to HLTB pages and your achievements pages for the games you want to play.
I can then can confirm length, not started status, achievements, eligibility. I will reply only if there are issues with the chosen games.
This event is for entrance into a giveaway for Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered
(Region-locked, so can't be activated in Japan, sorry).
Once you have beaten the two games, reply to first post of thread. I'll add you, and send the giveaway link on Steam (once it's live).
I will run the giveaway after the event is over, to give me more time to check and send invites, and set giveaway end-date.
If you're using HLTB, check the "Main story" time. This is the rough MINIMUM amount of time required to beat the game. I don't require you to 100% the game, I only require you to beat/finish the game. Most games have a "complete the story/game" achievement. If your game doesn't have an achievement to indicate you finished the game, then I will require some sort of proof that you have finished.)
