If you bought their bundle this time, don't create GA:s for the Porradaria titles.

If you already have created GA:s for these titles you should at least consider deleting them to avoid problems.
My Porradaria Upgrade GA just bonked out and I've had to replaced the key, hope you can avoid the same.

Oh well, already finished for me, but thanks for the info.

Edit: Seems like I was saved by making short enough GAs. :

To not harm those that legitimately activated these keys on the give away, or that spent their money on this bundle, only the keys that are not activated yet will be revoked.

My winners already have activated the games and marked them received, so I guess they aren't going to get revoked at all.

Wow. One hell of a way to get back into the bundle business... I guess we will hear their version of events soon enough.

Yeah, always two sides to it, but I'm not to argue one side or the other, just to save you lot from grief if I can. ;-)

Maybe someone should ask if the dev would give a replacement key if you show a giveaway made before that announcement, worth asking at least.

You could always try, but for me, I already replaced the key, can't be bothered to tell you the truth. This was not an expensive key to replace so no real problem for me this time. That and the announcement went up yesterday so I'm not exactly ''on the ball'' with this one...

I bought the first bundle knowing next to nothing about any history they might've had but I figured as a token of faith and good will. Skipped the second since I had most of what was in there. I'm glad I activated all my keys but this sure is disheartening and will only further add to general wariness on bundle sites. ):

It's all we can do, really XD Still not a good start for trying to get back into business haha. Even if it wasn't an attempt to be cheap they should still have contacted the devs about those promo keys. I mean if the dev had revoked them in the time they were unused, even more people would have had problems with this. I'm all for benefit of the doubt, but damn.

well, thanks a lot mate! I activated everything but porradaria upgrade and porradaria 2 vladmirson DLC, luckily ended 2 days ago so they're both marked as received and working.. that would have been something bad =\ thanks again for the warning!!
i kinda liked their indie approach and their low prices but yeah not the best thing, let's see what happens xD

I have left a complaint through the Bundle Kings webpage contact form, asking how they intend to make amends, if they will give new keys, if they will reimburse, or something else entirely. I am however not really expecting any sort of satisfying answer, but who knows, miracles do happen =)

At least my guy was happy with his new key, so we're all good there.

Bundle Kings official Response:
Some of the keys for the bundles we run are from old giveaways of which we used to run with the developers (We were known as Embloo), where we clearly told them that instead of charging them for payment for the promotion services of which we offered them, we will take keys for their games and we will sell them in the future.
In this case, we've talked to the developer and ran giveaways for him which lead him to a social growth, in return, he provided us 1k keys for each of his games (We told him that the keys will be used for both personal & commercial use in the future).
This happened last year, which is probably the main reason for the confusion, as he probably forgot about it by now.
** Either way, once he agreed to work with us he gave us full permission to resell them once he agreed to our terms of work.

Due to this developer claim, we have decided to stop all of our bundles and re-contact all of the developers to verify with them that they agree that we will resell their games, again, even though we have already done that in the past, when they agreed to work with us.

As regards for future bundles, we will be more cautious with our bundles and make sure that we have proofs so that we will be able proof our buyers our verification of reselling the games.

"(We were known as Embloo)"

According to my reciept, thats exactly who got the money from my bundle purchase, meaning YOU ARE STILL Embloo - making this hole a bit deeper.
Do you want to correct yourself, or should I pass a shovel?

Edit: Also you guys have no business info on your webpage, and your ToS arent legally compliant with selling within the EU:
"Governing Law
Any claim relating to Bundle Kings web site shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
General Terms and Conditions applicable to Use of a Web Site."

All claims will be made under EU law, and under EU courts if made by an EU resident.

As regards for the other keys in the bundles sold on Bundle Kings, we've already talked to the other developers and cleared everything up with them. Therefore, all of the keys (except those which were released by "CleanWater") should work perfectly fine.

There's always two sides to an argument, eh?

I mean, an online bundle store that had to shut down, then came back with a rather wonky site.... I don't know what I expected, really - but this thing did not come as a big surprise, you're bound to run into these things if you buy from any and all bundle stores online.

I actually don't think they intended the failed keys, I think their explanation is just what the other guys was - their side of it. Truth probably lies somewhere in the middle. Hopefully somewhere in the middle.

So scam might be a harsh term, but as a shop they have failed miserably at least - and presently there seems to be no intention to fix it or to compensate the affected buyers in any way. To me, even though this was not a disaster for me personally (just more of a hiccup, really), I think is worse than the keys failing to redeem. Anybody and every company can do mistakes. I don't judge any one after their infallibility as there is no such thing, but I do judge strongly on their ability to sort out a mistake once it's been found out. An oh shit, we fuxxed up, here we will fix actually makes me trust a person/company more than if the transaction had run smoothly to begin with.

Best thing about this - I learned Porra is a "bad word".

lol In Swedish 'Porr' means Porn. To 'porra' means to fuxx dirty, like in a porn movie.
Porradaria is not really a word at all, but could jokingly be construed as Pornistan, or something similar, like a whole country for porn.

Or like a network for porn....

That's why Swedish is a bad word and nobody should speak the language of djävuls. :P

Interesting enough, "Porr" is ok as "Porridaria" isn't censored.
