Borderlands 2 (MAC) for 3.49£ at gmg

Im too retarded to make links but according to a place called aspyr found through google the steam version is exactly the same. They state that if you already own it on pc then you can install it on your mac free of charge.

They also say that savegames don't work cross platform(don't care) and sometimes the game will be out of sync multiplayerwise, meaning you cant't play with your friends untill they have same patch versions, but i don't multiplayer stuff like that so i guess it's a win(specially since i have gmg wallet to pay for it).

So, if I own the base game on steam for pc, I can buy, for example, the psycho class from GMG on this mac sale, and it will work for my game?

Game work on pc with no problem. It even remember my savegame from the free weekend.

Desktop Platform is irrelevant as long as the DRM matches the one you prefer to use. As long as it's a Steam(works) title, it'll run.

Nuuvem/Gamersgate come to mind as a prime examples of stores where you really need to mind which type of game license you're buying.

DLC is registered more in-game than not, so hardly ever any issue as long as the base game works.

That's the beauty of SteamPlay. One game, plays on MAC and Windows. Usually not the same price, though. :D

Then, if I buy the season pass for Mac in gmg, I can use it with my PC copy of borderland 2 in steam?

I was wondering if this sale worked for pc, just picked up the season pass with my playfire credit, too bad the coupons don't allow you to use the credit anymore but I understand why they do that, currently downloading the dlc on steam :)
