Why has my ticket regarding Konrad6 not been responded to? And why did my CV decrease? Is it because people blacklist me? Maybe I need to level up, but how do I level up? This site is a scam.
I didn't use the search function at all.

DO NOT POST if the user Konrads6 adds you on steam to ask you to get him unbanned, you aren't the first, nor the last. He is perma-banned and these threads also seem to happen on a monthly basis, personally it doesn't bother me, but some people have started to get annoyed by it. Just know that he was banned and thats that.
true. i don't like them, cause the old users use it as a form of joke. which i really disapprove.
also, added you here:

edit 2: in here:
DO use the search function to see if your question has been asked before, if its asked once a week, be assured people will give you a frosty answer. Its not you, its just people are sick of replying to the same questions. Thats not to say you can not ask questions, people here are happy to help on the main and we all had to start somewhere. If you find your question has rarely been asked, then fire away! If its asked semi-frequently but you want different information than is in the threads you found, start a new thead!
i suggest to make the "DO" green a big!

do not post about what you should or shouldnt do... many people are trying to help newbies but the thread will drop and the newbie will post his thread. also no newbie will read this topic as its to much text for them... its so muich easier to create an own topic to ask.
i have seen so many threads of this kind. but still we got the same threads new^^

There hasn't been a thread like this to my knowledge and most the help threads are regularly bumped.
If you don't try, it'll never work, as I said if only one or two people get the message its worth it. Also I will start linking it to people who make these threads and maybe they'll only post one instead of posting one for each topic.

Posts like these should really be stickied, if a sticky feature does exist in SG. Definitely contain some good advice for unclear things from the FAQ.
Bump for visibility.

These ones would be worthy additions:

Problem will be getting them to read this, since the dumbasses that spam the forum are reluctant to use the search bar or read the FAQ already available to find answers for themselves, as if 10 seconds on google wouldn't be enough.
Also, I don't know if an FAQ has to have a Q-A format.
you can use this for formatting as well (it makes it big like above)

I agree totally, this probably won't work a lot, however as a thread I can link in the future to these sort of threads it makes my response easier. Also whilst its bumped it might catch a couple of people who were going to post these sorts of questions! :)

DO NOT POST how do I level up?
I would suggest adding the link to the level calculator thread.
DO NOT POST why did my level drop?
Another reason is that games drop in price. It's not clear up front that CV is calculated from current prices, rather than prices at the time the game was gifted.

DO NOT POST threads asking why a giveaway winner is "ignoring" you. The deadline for accepting and sending gifts is seven days. If by then the user has not responded to your various attempts to contact them, request a re-roll and provide screenshot proof that you tried your best to give them their prize.

We have plenty of advice on what to do, but very little advice on what not to do with regards to SteamGifts. This thread is to help those that have read the FAQ, but still may unknowingly commit an SG faux pas! Before you read on ensure that you have read the FAQ or are at least familiar with the rules. This thread should hopefully be a guideline on how to deal with things that aren't mentioned in the FAQ, or are common mistakes people make in their first weeks on the forums.
DO NOT POST a thread asking why your ticket has not been replied to. These threads happen once or twice a week and usually are from people who probably know no better. The answer is simple, there aren't a lot of support members trying to answer a lot of support tickets, there is nothing wrong with your ticket, it will get responded to eventually. Some people have tickets stretching back years, have patience and understand that they are volunteers.
DO NOT POST is this site a scam? No its not. Many people have won 100's of games, the average user enters 1,000's before winning anything. There are numerous threads on "how" to win, the best way to increase your odds is, get involved in the community. So giving away games to level up will give you access to games with less entries, posting on the forums and taking part in events will increase your chance(there are always numerous great events), take part in puzzles(a lot of people can't be bothered to solve them so you have a better chance of winning), basically anything but entering level 0 public GA's with 1,000's of entries increases your chance of winning.
DO NOT POST why have I been blacklisted? The response to this kind of thread is usually more blacklists. People blacklist for various personal reasons, not always something you'll agree with but the best thing to do is ignore it and carry on. If you REALLY need to know, contact the blacklister directly for an explanation, but do not harrass them or beg them to remove you. Let their reasoning be an indication of how to change your behaviour in the future.
DO NOT POST how do I level up? This again is posted weekly, you level up by gifting games. There is a CV calculator thread which tells you exactly how much to give away to hit each level.
DO NOT POST why did my level drop? Another of the weekly fun threads, your level dropped because your game you gave away in a bundle got put on the bundle list or there was a mistake during a sale(commonly Deponia is a victim of this) which gives you an initial false CV.
DO

There's lots of other things I can link to this which I will do in the future(including useful threads I've mentioned), a lot of people are getting more and more frustrated recently which isn't yours or their fault! If you are desperate for information on one of the topics I mentioned, post in this thread and I'll try and answer the best I can! A lot of this stuff doesn't really bother me, so i'll be happy to help where I can! I'm sure there are hundreds of others who feel the same!
For all the guys out there that are sick of replying to these threads, what have I missed that needs adding?
