cause 2015 is like 2014, some people and media overuse every word and description nowadays........either you are the best trader in the world or a scammer....they love you or hate you.....there are only bloody capitalists and deep red communists......only beautiful people and most ugly people........but you should not care so much...those people are not worth to loose to much time on their thoughts

based on my recent experience, i could honestly say that there are retards who are going to attack your credibility without any basis whatsoever just because they don't like your offer. It happens, best way is to leave them alone. You can't cure stupid.

They use it instead of calling the person a shark, one that preys on those that are not informed enough about the value of their items. The issue is both sides tend to call the other a scammer when it essentially doesn't have the trade stacked in their favor. Basically a bad trade for them, no one goes for the even value trade, only the in my favor trade.

I've seen a number of people get offended when I reject their low-ball offer. I've never actually been called a scammer, but I guess it's just a matter of time.

Now, I like even trades. Even is good.
But even apparently uneven trades can be beneficial to all parties, and that is what I strive for when I trade: trades where both parties are happy with the outcome. I'm not above making a profit (though I seldom do), but I prefer fairness.

I don't call low-ballers scammers. But when I do get an obviously low-ball offer, I can't help but wonder whether they really thought that would go through.

There are a lot of scammers to be fair; and a lot of people stupid enough to fall for it
