blue version is better, get that. leaf green doesn't have the very best pokemon in any of the games. Missngno. followed closely by aerodactyl missingno, followed closely by M' followed closely by ghost missingno, followed closely by kabotops missingno.
I spend alot of time and reset files trading to build a team with all 5, and then add a misingno I caught myself. :)
they should have intentionally coded one into the remakes as an easteregg.

Good ol' times. Played a lot with my old gba (no advance). Now I am playing it on PC (with controller) or as the author of this thread with my Samsung Galaxy S3. Very awesome I have to say. :)

<These, there's a Shining Force 2, but I didn't play it.
I liked those tactical Megaman (4 and 6)
Dark alliance was a decent arpg (typical diablo like game)
Zone of the Enders, this is less popular and probably harder that you like.
Swords of Mana?
I enjoyed those Dragon ball adventure/arpg style (not the fighting games). But I can understand they won't get much support.

River city ransom
Super dodgeball advance (I swear it is good, and I hate sports

Breath of fire 2
Mother 3
Shining Force

I have literally played every GBA game they made. These are the ones that held my attention the longest.

+1 For being the first person to say Castlevania. Seriously how could that not have been the first thing said?

Pokemon Emerald and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. There are MANY more amazing games to name, but out of the ones I've played on the gba, these 2 are my favourites.

Play Riviera: The Promised Land. It's so awesome that it got an upgraded version for the PSP with voiceovers. Currently you can get a boxed GBA copy for 80 dollars!.
Also, it's pretty much turn-based so you don't have to focus on big things. It's a lenghty RPG.
