Heroes 3 was good, but THESE are the REAL Might and Magic games to play.

Also, if you like Heroes 3, get the Chronicles to go with them as they are part of the Heroes 3 world.

That's comparing apples to oranges. They might take place in the same universe but Might & Magic and "Heroes" have always been 2 separate distinct product lines in different genres.

But what about Swords of Xeen?
And did you ever beat the Mega Dragon? Or have the weapon my friend was never able to fix because the game ran out of money, a Photon Obsidian Greataxe of Dragon Slaying?

That was almost 25 years ago man. :P I remember how hilarious we found the Drawkcab Monks, and that sense of accomplishment when the main fighter guy had complete set of Obsidian equipment. I also remember my brother and I having 20+ pages of notes about what potions did what, names of armor, map locations, riddle answers, and stuff like that.

I tried to play Swords of Xeen later, but could never get into it as much.
