Did you even read any of what was on the page you linked to?. The game is free to play. The 3 "packages" you can buy on steam just contain a bunch of additional characters, costumes, items, etc. that you can use in the game.

Yeah, Marvel Heroes has been around for quite some time now. I've been in the beta for a few months and have been following it for around a year or so now.

No the $200 version basically unlocks all characters and costumes for you so you don't have to get them as drops in game.
