I gave away a game and I received +0.22 on my level. If I buy the game again and obviously gave it away (this will be the second time, according to the FAQ's it only starts decreasing the +level amount from more than 5th time), will I get AGAIN +0.22 on my level? Or it's an exponential form of gaining level? I'm so confused about this.
In other words: Is there a way to know EXACTLY how much level will I gain after the giveaway is completed?

The +level amount from this 2nd giveaway will be:

+0.22
+(other amount)

0.22 towards L2. Each level requires a greater amount, so it would count for less if your previous giveaway put you at L2.

This might help.

The + ratio change if you giveaway more than 5 copies of the game.

Yes, but my question is about the second time, so LESS than 5 times. Will I get +.022 or less for being exponential in some way.

Yes you'll get + 0.22 again.
But it will also depend on your level on SteamGifts.

Thanks a lot, now I can give that game 4 more times and get 0.88. Right?

It depends on whether you get up to a new level before you have given the 4 the copies away.

It doesn't change at all up to 5 accumulated copies.

To give an example, is the steam gifts leveling up like the STEAM TRADING CARDS? You get 100 experience (normal badge) and 500 level (for a foil badge) [take it as cheap and expensive games] then when you craft another badge you will STILL GET 100 EXP, later when I level up instead of needing 500 to get to the next level now I need 600 and next level 700.

Check https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/XaCbA/list-of-all-cv-levels-and-their-corresponding-real-cv

+0.22 is just a pourcentage view of your progression in your current level.

Once I'm creating the giveaway steam gifts SHOULD TELL ME EXACTLY from which level to which level I will change, example: 1.92 to 2.06 (leveling up in this case), this is way more complicated than it has to be, new users like me and more to come that are interested on giving away and leveling up could just see the numbers and be 100% certain of the post giveaway level change (obviously if the game isn't bundle during the time of the giveaway and you bought it with that discounted price)

It gets even more complicated as the level gained (CV) is depended on the current base price of the game in the Steam store.

So your giveaway gave you a level increase of 0.22 (from level 1 to level 2). Let's assume that game's price on Steam permanently (not in a sale) changes in the future, e.g. the price drops to 50% of the former value. Your giveaway now only contributes 0.11 to your level progression from L1 to L2.

SG will not tell you exactly your level progression for a giveaway because of that. It might change in the future.

You should also take bundled status into account, as well as retroactive bundling. Read the CV thread, linked above, everything should be explained there.

But if the Steam price drops (permanently) 50% they don't level you down, right? They will just give you 0.11 from now on. So their database will sync and when you create the new giveaway they just tell you:
Current level 2.23 (for example)
Gain from this giveaway if completed properly +0.11
Outcome 2.34

Right? All this in the case they don't level you down if the steam price reduces permanently, which I don't think is the case because you bought it on the old price.

It does not matter for how much you bought a game. Most games come from bundle sites anyway.

Of course you level down. You also level up, if the price increases or there is a bug. I think my level changed like 20 times, everytime I was close to a level up. The database does not store individual historical prices of games, it only get the present values from Steam.

Try not to care too much, and your stay here will be much more pleasant.

If the price drops you go down.
Early Access package for 20$ for example.
Became f2p so the value became 0$.
Edit: What counts is the current value, not whatever you paid for it.
Call it deflation ;)

OMG that sounds unfair, but yes, it would be so difficult to store historical prices and all of the price changes, still they could just don't level nobody down :/ I'll follow @Oppenh4imer advice and not care too much because I'm alredy getting frustrated. lol

2nd advise: Step away from your PC. Do something offline now. Else you will keep thinking about it.

it depends on a lot of stuff...
first, what level you are (lv1 0.22 won't be the same as 0.22 in lv5)
if a game is bundled it will give you 15% of the store price.
game price changes in the store will affect your cv too.
if the game is removed, then it will be 0cv unless it's manually fixed by support.

you can usually have an idea of how much cv you will get just by checking the USA store price and making sure it's not either bunbled or gonna be bundled (for example: if it was discounted).
