Too many, I used to buy a magazine every month for a few years, and every month there was a 'free' game. And I have many other old games, like The Sims, Grim Fandango, Escape from Monkey Island, a bunch of Star Wars games, Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, Diablo II, both Oddworlds, Final Fantasy VIII, Black & White. Yeah, too many.

I remember a friend telling me one day (about a legit PC game) "what puzzles me is that it doesn't have a "crack" folder and it works anyway". Guess we were too used to get pirated games xP

Hmm... Warcraft 3, Diablo 2+3, Starcraft 1+2, hmm... I see a trend here. Guild Wars 1, Dark Age of Camelot, Final Fantasy VII, Age of Empires 2, Stronghold, Lords of Everquest, Dungeon Siege 1, The Sims 2 Complete, SimCity 2000, a few different tycoons, Hellgate: London, probably a whole lot I can't think of right now, for PC anyways.

Prince of Persia, Call of Duty : World At War, Dead Space, Medal of Honor 2010, Rainbow Six: Vegas and the best for the end, Starcraft.

It's really interesting that all Retail Steam games I got and not only (about 90% of all my retail games) are cheaper then they are on Steam.
For example I got Red Faction Armageddon for E10 when it was 30 on Steam.
HoMM 6 CE was the most obvious - E60 pre-order on Steam and E30 pre-order for retail edition.

I was just thinking about that, given that when I was younger it was REALLY hard to find original games (i.e. not pirated copies) where I live or even near my town (I live southish in Argentina, and not in a main city), so the games I physically "have" are almost all copies T_T except for Metal Gear and Max Payne, which I got them as originals several years after they were released :/. And what about you guys and gals?
