Hi, I'm having a problem with a new banner from AdChoices that is in front of the website content: current giveaway picture and Browse choices.

As you can see in the picture below:

This isn't like that one from Google that you can report directly to them.

Use a addblocker ---> problem solved ;o)

This could be a solution, but is not good for Steamgifts and I try to avoid. The ads weren't intrusive until now, so at least I support the website with this little gesture.

Unfortunately, that ad issue- among others- is a long standing one, and the basis for why many of us who don't mind supporting the site have enabled adblock on it. cg hasn't replied to our previous concerns on the matter, so adblocking or reloading the page until you get a new ad seem to be our only options. [If it's persisting through refreshes, you can try a cache clear refresh or restarting the browser.]

Also, do note that AdChoices isn't an ad provider, but a privacy-protecting opt-in program for advertising companies; Google actually operates under the AdChoices program itself.

I didn't knew that, I thought it was a brand. Thank you for the explanation, too bad it is an ongoing problem.

It was gone to me for a while, then it shows up again. It will be bad if it continues to break the website structure. The middle banner already breaks it in my cellphone, causing the site to be wider and harder to see.

Perhaps this could be fixed by adding some responsive css in the ads that are in the way.

by adding a style with max height for mobile and other screen sizes.
Although that does not always work, sometimes google ads ignore them :).

Thanks for the notice. The sidebar advertising is setup with our ad partner to specifically display 300x250 advertisements. I'm assuming they made an error and accidentally ran a campaign with the wrong ad sizes in that space. I pulled the ad network for now to resolve the issue and I'll send them a message to see what happened.
