PoP: The Forgotten Sands Deluxe question

My friend asked me to buy him PoP: TFS Deluxe as a gift, and I was wondering, if it would give me a tradable copy of Sands of Time, or that would go to my library, since don't own it. Because Sands of Time is the main reason he wants the deluxe version (it's cheaper that way), so neither of us wants it to go to my library, but Steam says it gives a copy to play right away, so I'm not sure.

When you go to purchase the game, you can select purchase for myself or purchase as a gift. If you select it as a gift, then it should go to your inventory and not your library.

Yeah its a pretty old game. I got it on PlayStation Plus for really cheap, with The Warrior Within and The Two Thrones. I need to play them like immediately.

If you pick it as a gift then there should be no problem with either game, although I would advise you to wait till last sale day as it might go on a bigger sale before that.
