My answers
1a. Not anymore, I thought we had to do this, but Sleepycat said we only need to check our own games, so I stopped doing this
1b. Not anymore, I did check this untill a few weeks ago. But when someone has a lot of games, my browser always gives a script error, so it cost me too much time to do this
1c. Nope, never done this
1d. No, I really dont care if someone plays my givingaways
1e. Yes This way (by looking who entered my giveaways) I found around 10 people who have blacklisted me :P, I returned them the favor. If you want off let me off too ;)

1a. Do you check if the winner activated all his/her wins (so also giveaways from other creators)
Yes
1b. Do you check if the winner already has the game he/she won from you?
Yes
1c. Do you check if the winner activated your giveaway game on steam?
No, I hope that the giveaway creator for their next win will check that
1d. Do you check if the winner plays the game he/she won from you?
No
1e. Do you check if you got blacklisted bij the winner?
No, and it would be hard to check for me unless they have a public giveaway for a game I don't own running, since I can view all giveaways.
I also check for multiple accounts since I have tools to help me looking for that.

+1
it is quite a lot of work to check a winner that way but I am convinced that it is necessary to keep the community healthy

Pretty much the same, plus (sometimes) groups. 1c-reason is didn't remember or have time to do that.

Yes you should. Just the reroll ticket is enough, you don't need to create a separate user report.

Do you check if the winner :
1a. activated all his/her wins (so also giveaways from other creators)
1b. already has the game he/she won from you?
yes, thanks to SG tools, make them easy
1c. activated your giveaway game on steam?
yes, after mark as received and at least remind him for once
1d. plays the game he/she won from you?
sometimes
1e. Do you check if you got blacklisted bij the winner?
nope XD

I only check if the winner already has the game . While it would be nice if the winner plays the game, once they win and activate it then it's theirs to do as they please. I stil didn't get to play all the games I have won here yet, so I surely am not going to judge or criticize someone else for not doing it either.

1a. Do you check if the winner activated all his/her wins (so also giveaways from other creators)
Yes
1b. Do you check if the winner already has the game he/she won from you?
Sometimes. If it's longer giveaway or something that got bundled recently, I do. But if I give away older bundled games, such as ones from bundles made ~3 months ago, I don't, usually. I didn't get a reroll request from such giveaway anyway, so it seems it's OK.
1c. Do you check if the winner activated your giveaway game on steam?
No, I don't care. It's SG who should enforce this rule, not me. My part is done after sending the game and receiving received mark, although if that guy won second game from me after he marked received, I'd do that as in 1a.
1d. Do you check if the winner plays the game he/she won from you?
No, I don't give a damn - it's his game, he can do whatever he wants with it, as long as he follows SG rules.
1e. Do you check if you got blacklisted bij the winner?
Usually I do, but I never blacklist back. I didn't spot any winner who blacklisted me yet, but I'd make sure to deliver it in last hour of last 6th day.

I do check him out on sgtools. that's why I made the profile link thingy...
1b. Do you check if the winner already has the game he/she won from you?
actually, that's something I forget most of the time, but that is a good idea in general.
1c. Do you check if the winner activated your giveaway game on steam?
Nah, most of the time it's gift and forget for me ;-)
1d. Do you check if the winner plays the game he/she won from you?
See the one above
1e. Do you check if you got blacklisted bij the winner?
Hm, never thought about that actually...

Going to check it out. I Always use Microsoft edge browser, so this one wont let me use any addons
Got to learn to use Firefox
Thanks for the link

Well, you can also manually put the names here:
It might be possible to use a bookmarklet in IE/Edge but I'm not sure (That would essentially be a bookmark or favorite or whatever it's called that does some javascript to automatically open the sgtools page for that user)

wow that helps a lot thanks
add those links to my bookmarks :)))

Don't use firefox! Use chrome! J/K ... Either one actually... Then you need one of the script monkey extensions... Then you can be using scripts for SG... They seriously make your life a lot easier.
Comment has been collapsed.
yes got it installed but for whatever reason I still use Edge
Got to force myself to change that
Comment has been collapsed.
Edge is a pile of crap :D
Sorry... I'm not a fan of any microsoft browers.
They just aren't as secure, and lock you into the way things work. Every time I'm starting up a new computer, or helping my parents or relatives with one, I remove all IE/Edge links and replace with their preference, Chrome or Firefox and replace default browser setting as well. Then I don't have to worry about them using bad browsers. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
I agree with you if its about IE but Edge is till now the safest one, I doesnt allow any addon (even Norton doesnt get an approval to make a addon)
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't really see how that makes it safer, only keeps you in a cell. Personally my SG experience is Black not white. I have scripts that help making GAs a snap instead of taking forever, I have adblockers for most sites running. Why would I want to limit myself to having none of those things, because Microsoft is too crappy with their code to support extensions and be safe?
:D

haha :D you are right
Got the script installed on Firefox now lets use it :)

How did you survive without knowing about those two URLs? ;)
With those two or even better SilentGuy's add-ons work will get quite easy.
Comment has been collapsed.
yeah I know thats why I told the mod I wanted to stop making giveaways cause with one winner I was busy for 20 minutes haha :P
Now I can check things again :)))
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't think I checked anyone till I learned about those scripts. It was too much work. Now it's three middle clicks for each winner. Wait a few moments for it to load, or pull up the next winner and repeat the process then go back once they've all loaded.
Comment has been collapsed.
And then report them all for not being casual gifters ;)
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm not a casual gifter :)
I'm a serial gifter. I think this has been made clear many times before. I'm not in the Student camp of denying that which is true ;)

installed your script :) Thats easy. Now I can check everything too. Manually it cost too much time. Thanks :)

a. - I use SGtools :) for activations/double wins. In my last 5 ga had to reroll about 6-7 times because of that xD
b. - not really
c. d. when I'm bored i check old GA for this if the game in my opinion was worth playing. Don't do it anymore as in most cases they were just farmed for cards and abandonned :(
e. - sometimes
Edit - I always also check if the winner doesn't have this game already.

1a. Do you check if the winner activated all his/her wins (so also giveaways from other creators)
Yes. I just use SGtools for this
1b. Do you check if the winner already has the game he/she won from you?
No. I usually look at their recent wins, but that's about it. Exception being for collections, where I will check to make sure that the winner does not already have a large portion of it.
1c. Do you check if the winner activated your giveaway game on steam?
No. Once the gift has been delivered, I usually don't do any further checks.
1d. Do you check if the winner plays the game he/she won from you?
No.
1e. Do you check if you got blacklisted bij the winner?
No
If there's an SGtools check before the giveaway, I'll also make sure that the winner entered the legitimate way (and blacklist anyone who did not) before delivering the gift.

1a. Do you check if the winner activated all his/her wins (so also giveaways from other creators)
Just a quick Sgtools check, and only with recent history. If they have not activated a game they won two years ago, I presume they have already served their suspension.
1b. Do you check if the winner already has the game he/she won from you?
Sometimes.
1c. Do you check if the winner activated your giveaway game on steam?
Usually I do. I don't care if they play it or not, but we all agree to respect the rules here when we enter a giveaway.
1d. Do you check if the winner plays the game he/she won from you?
Never done that.
1e. Do you check if you got blacklisted bij the winner?
Never done that.

You'd be surprised how many haven't served their time from years ago. I used to think that way to, but then started double checking just in case and about 25% of them have gotten away with it because not enough people check.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, that's why people like this go away unpunished for months.
Once I got someone with few unactivated wins in span of few months. Suspension was longer due to number of games, but as it's their first infraction they can continue to not activate games, as they have 3 hits before they will be suspended permanently. So they can activate few bundled games, and continue to not activate recent wins to the point they will be catched once again.
That's why I report even really old things, even when I know that it's most probably "already served". But as there is no way of us to know it, people just spam support with unnecessary tickets xD
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, I'm the same. I report any violation, but then also tag the date with SG++ on their userprofile and the reason I reported there.
i.e. Multi 05-30-16 - So if they have already served, I won't report multi wins on them again, unless it occurs after the date in my tag. Same with NonActivations :D
I'll spam support, but only for things I haven't yet :D

In the beginning I did check everything, but I got very tired of making giveaways (like I told Sleepycat its too much work to make giveaways this way)
Then I decided I had to choose or to stop making giveaways or not to care what the winner does with game
I chose the last option
What do you check when someone wins your giveaway?
1a. Do you check if the winner activated all his/her wins (so also giveaways from other creators)
1b. Do you check if the winner already has the game he/she won from you?
1c. Do you check if the winner activated your giveaway game on steam?
1d. Do you check if the winner plays the game he/she won from you?
1e. Do you check if you got blacklisted bij the winner?
