Giveaways Entered

I don't know if this should go under the Bugs / Suggestions or General category, also I don't know if it has been asked before but here it goes.

While SteamGifts were upgrading the servers to the site, the Giveaway Entered (http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaways/entered) page was put in a temporary restricted mode, only show the last 100 giveaways entered, sorted by the Date Entered. I thought it was pretty useful to have it sorted like that. Now that SteamGifts is back to normal, so is the Giveaway Entered page. But I was wondering if maybe other people thought if it would be useful to have some sort of simple sorting options (sort by time remaining, entries, date entered, etc.) for giveaways that have not ended / been deleted.

Maybe I'm by myself here, but it seems like a useful feature to have.

Would you like to be able to sort the Giveaways Entered page by time remaining / entries / date entered?

you are right, sometime it would be pretty nice, if you could sort your entered gas. i´m often remove (and later re-enter) a ga to gain fast points to enter an other ga^^

I wouldn't like to go back to the 'temporary mode': Sorted only by date entered, but adding more options, if it won't stress the servers too much - not a bad idea. But I think we need to wait to see how it all works before adding anything new. :)

Yeah, the temporary mode isn't something I'd want back either lol just the sorting functionality.

^ Basically. The temporary mode was garbage as a default mode, but having more options when organizing results, is always a positive thing :)

I really liked the "time remaining" sorting of the entered giveaways. It helped me get my hopes up before showing me the cruel reality that I'll never win Fallout 4 or MGS: Phantom Pain.

Well I think the Giveaways Entered page is default sorted by time remaining haha but true, Fallout 4 or MGS are cruel towards the end of the giveaway

Yeah, I noticed it reverted to the default "time remaining" style after I posted this. I didn't like the sorting during the server upgrade times since I couldn't keep track of the giveaways I entered.

But yeah, it would be nice if we got to chose our sorting style.

I believe I had to request re-rolls of more giveaways because of people not being able to see all of their entered giveaways when they won a game (and remove the relevant entries). I think because of that the current system is probably better for more people - but a variety of options would be great if it can be supported.

I'm not saying to implement the temporary mode where they only see X amounts of giveaways, but rather implementing a sorting function where instead of listing the giveaways in order of when the giveaway ends, it sorts it from when the user entered the giveaway.

+1 to make the entered List sortable
Just wanted to make a thread abt it and found this one.

Sadly this is 11months old and no DEV even commented on that :(
Shouldnt be that hard to make this query sortable?
(Even when this was already kind of existing for the temporary upgrade page)
