mmm that's awesome, I loved twitch plays pokemon, but dark souls? That would be near impossible :D

In a few months they'll finally get through the door but by that time only like 10 people will be interested in still sitting there mashing random commands and then they'll have a chance. Will over 5k do anything in the game? no. Will the complete it? They cant point at the door to walk through it. There is however hope, they're very good at opening and closing the menu.

Already finished all Souls game 100% and it's generally fun to watch others tackle on DS for the first time.
But this stream was just plain torture. Couldn't watch more than 15mins straight.

It is mostly about recognizing a pattern and countering it. It's not as hard as it is made out to be. Though I could be blind to the new player's struggle after beating the game dozens of times and multiple SL1 runs.

It's really not as hard as people say it is.
The key to dark souls is
1) Take it slow
2) Have your shield out while taking it slow
3) Roll when your shield isn't out
4) Take it slow
Most people are bad at Dark Souls because they rush into it.

15 hours and they haven't gotten through Undead Asylum. I feel like the rafters in Anor Londo is going to take 15 hours and the archers another 15.

I doubt they can beat this , or even get to Anor Londo , unless they organize they will never get trough Blighttown . It took them days if I rembember to get past a coridor in Pokemon .

They're not going to get through this, no matter how much time they're given. I'll be amazed if they manage to beat any other boss besides the Asylum Demon.

They nearly got to the first boss, but nothing that the Darksign can't fix.
Menu command should be for mod/staff exclusively for this playthrough to work.

EDIT:
Twitch changed the game mechanics so Dark Souls is basicly turn based now.
After each action the game pauses, during this time the chat can vote for the next move, then the game unpauses and continues.
