Best co-op games on steam?

I will try to recommend a less "common" game.I really enjoyed Alien Breeds 2-player coop ,Bernardo :)

Saints Row 3, Magicka, Krater

Me and my girlfriend have really enjoyed both Saints Row: The Third (2 persons), and Dead Island (2-4 persons). So they are recommended.

Local Co-Op - The Cave, Rayman Origins.
Co-Op - Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army, Castle Crashers, Borderlands 2.

I think there's a search option in the Steam store which allows you to filter games, so that only co-op ones are displayed. It's extremely useful. Also, you could use forum search, as this is an extremely popular topic on the forums.

In about a year, Binding of Isaac. Local only, sadly enough.

And yes, I know it's going to be good. ;)

Portal 2 is the best co-op game I ever played.

Well, I play mostly local coop with my small bro, so the games on my account are:
