The 30 day trade cooldown...Source?

I have seen a lot of posts about this but no actual source from valve. Is this for real or just another internet rumor?

It was posted by a Valve employee on a group created to promote Steam Trading Cards when it was first in beta. Unless it's April Fools in Valve Time, I'm sure it's legit.

no need source, just add game to your cart and press store in your inventory to send later, it state 30 days
