I can try to apply, right? :)
Btw: Your criteria are pretty similar to mine. People can spend 2,000$+ on this site but I still won't whitelist them if literally all they create is group giveaways were only like, 6 people entered. Having said that, I totally whitelisted you.

I'd like to say no since I've given back to the community. But I feel that maybe the fact that I've won some may disqualify me.

I'm low on funds so I try to give back when I have some spare monies.
And I think last I checked I've entered over 15,000 giveaways.

Without knowing your income / expenses I can't possibly know your situation, with that said I do know that it's possible to buy 2+ games each week on Humble Bundle for 1USD.
I'm a not so wealthy person myself so that's how I get my games, in bundles and on deep discount sales.
638 here and no wins, surely it's my time to get lucky.. soon'ish? ;)

I guess I perfectly fit the requirements. Invite plz! (definitely not a leech)

I just want to get to lvl 2 and officially be out of the leech league.I know that feel, bro!
But to be honest, that's why I do private giveaways, only two but anyways, this is how I can assure that only good people get a chance rather than leeches.

I'd say 80% of my giveaways are probably private giveaways I do on the forums.
I imagine many are similar to myself.

Yes, I just wanted to post my disagreement with that. If I created giveaways for the forum they were marked as private (and when I got only 3 entries it was because the link was hidden). If I created giveaways to a Steam group of people who haven't won before, that was at times quite a small group. That doesn't make me a leech.
I'm not quite as generous as IgotElbows, but I still think that your your rules are bull.

You can gift to anyone you want, I just think that your definition of leech is wrong. If someone is doing for example a lot of forum puzzles, that doesn't make them a leech even remotely. Yes, it's a small group, but it's a group that's open to everyone.

If that someone is doing a lot of forum puzzles how big a % does that one person represent out of all S.Gifts users?
what If you knew 100 people that did a lot of forum puzzles, what would the % be then?
The number you end up with is the potential in % of what could be leeches.

Thanks for the link. Let's consider how many people you could choose given simpler, reasonable criteria. You're already discounting anyone at level 0, and a lot of level 1. You could probably discount people who won a lot more than they they give (a criterion which you don't have but looks to me more reasonable than the "small group" ones). You'd likely end with a few thousand users (there are 20k+ level 2+ users in that post, but I'm guessing that most of them contribute little compared to their wins).
From these, the percentage of users doing puzzles and trains would likely be quite high.

I'll copy / paste this here, as you can see its right there..
Let me think about the rest... running on empty here..

Adding my name to the list for your consideration.

It is great to see someone with the same norms and values :)

Can I get a whitelisting? :D
Added you to my whitelist. You're actually the only one so far. I keep my giveaways open to all.
Though this is the winner of one of my giveaways
Gifts Won
45 ($423.55)
Gifts Sent
0 ($0.00)
Maybe I should put a level requirement on some time. I just don't like to do that.

I wish (and said that several times before) that there was a way to limit a giveaway to those who won under a certain number.
Anyway, that's one reason people go for private and group giveaways. Which is why labeling these as "leeching" is stupid. Just because someone limits giveaways to those he thinks deserve more to win doesn't make him a leech.

And what if those invite only GA's are actually kind of public? Like, for the forums? :V

How do you put a % on "kinda public"?
If we use your stats as an example:
You have 167 GAs
70+ of those are Invite Only.
80+ is Private groups.
And out of those 150+ "Invite / Private" I could see (have entered) 5.
Now you tell me, what am I supposed to think?

I don't bother if I can be on your whitelist or not, buuuuut:
I like to give games to people who is active on forum :)
And I personally like to have 5-20% chance of winning by myself ;)

That is a nice number you have there, I have about 1/10th of that on my whitelist. I will expand it some more before I start making whitelist giveaways though. :)

I already have 255 people on my whitelist and I hope to add many more...
You know you're not a leech and want to be whitelisted?
Just ask and I'll see what we can do about it. ;)
Whenever I join a GA I look at the creators stats and if they seem good, I add them to my whitelist.
An are you already on the list? Test
Current whitelist count 709
2 Blacklisted
What is a leech?
To ME it's someone who..
• Makes (zero / only one) giveaway and then leeches without ever giving back.
• For the most only creates "invite only / private GAs" and yet still partakes in public GAs
(i.e they can win from all but no one (from public) can win from them.)
• Creates GAs out of the free games from sites like Indiegala / Facebook etc..
• Has been on the site since day one (3 years?) and only managed to create a one, if not zero GAs
but have won 100 times and have a Steam library of 500+ games.. You know the type, right?
What I look at when deciding to whitelist:
• "% Invite" (% of Invite Only)
• "% Private" (i.e. Small Closed Groups)
• "% Created / Won" (i.e. Win Ratio in %)
• "% Region" (i.e. % of Region Restrictions)
• "Time since last GA was created"
Something I wish I could see:
• Length of time on completed giveaways (one world does not equal one time zone, please keep this in mind when creating giveaways.)
• When "Invite only" are for forum trains and thus open for all.
Whitelist 101
I reserve the right to boot you from the whitelist if:
• Your GA create to win ratio goes into the negative.
• Your "Invite Only / Private Group / Region Restricted" GAs exceeds 33% of your total GAs.
• Its been 30 days since your last GA but only a day since your last win, which now places you in the negative.
The former is only for approximate guidance, the last is an instant boot reason.
• You create "fake" region restricted GAs.
• You create GAs from free keys. (IndieGala etc.)
Current Giveaways:

Some useless info: Entered 1195 GAs before winning for the first time.
