Again making giveaways take time to create. I have about 3k worth of game keys piled up. Some I've made giveaways for as I did recently and some I just drop cause I don't feel like doing anything else with them. Anything really good I usually check my friends list first before giving it away.
I've been giving games away on this site for quite some time and I get a little worn out once and a while. I'm giving away free games and I could care less if someone is going to complain because they couldn't get one. They are free.

You must not make GA's to give it away in a steam group. To post it there will take the same ammount of time then posting it here.
It was a suggestion how you can MAYBE do it "better" (the way that not all go to bots).
If you think i complain i am not sure about that, too sleepy because i don't get anything then you have misunderstand my complete posting.

Creating a group takes time I don't want to put into it. Then I have to decide who gets in. If I leave it public then can't a bot still snatch those up from there if someone joined that uses one?

You are not into a/few/lots of groups ?
I not spoke over creating one ... only from put it in a small group that is maybe not accessible from anyone + private. Then all posts are secured from bots that steal it from outside of the group. All normal groups without that can't secure there threads.
I have a own group, partly, for such things. Only a part of my steamfriends are in and i hold it at the moment around 60 members. More then 150 brought key stealers inside (taking keys without a response) -people i don't expected to do that, because i known all of them since months...-. I kicked each time it happend untill the right ones were out and the stealing stopped. Since that time i am not motivated to invite a bigger ammount of my steam friends.
And no it is not a offer (before anyone think that)

Ya that's what my friends list is for. I don't have a mass amount of friends on my list cause I don't feel the need to be friends with everyone and then never even communicate with them. I have a group I started years ago in SG infancy and the members in there are on my friends list or at least most of them are. They have access to my list of games just not the actual keys. If they want anything from it they just ask.
If I see the game on their wishlist I'll hit them up and see if they still want it.
