Eh.. I'm trying to level up.. I guess I've never seen such a bad system, everybody is spamming posts "nice, not bad" under everything, some of them posting the same thing more than once..

You used to get points for posting, people still think that is the case. They got rid of that to avoid the spam you are mentioning. Upvotes now earn you the points, but sadly their new system is flawed there as well. People on the first few pages get 100s of upvotes for random gibberish, just because people are farming their "Vote 50 times a day" points indiscriminately upvote those first few pages..
I do the 50 votes a day as well, but I tend to use them to downvote obvious spam ("dahszxdfahjkl" type stuff) just as much as I upvote constructive responses. Most of the time I ignore the brief pointless comments so they don't get my up or down vote.

Yeah its getting really annoying. Especially the obvious posts which are (sorry for spam i want levels) .. .Those trigger me to a maximum. Or when you see some guy create 5 posts just titled A B C D E F or some crap to get the daily done.
Causing the entire website to run slow because servers cant handle all this spam. Its just unusable during points reset

Just 10 from CG. But being voted I don't think caps. Friend of mine posted "Nice" on the first page of a giveaway (which now has hundreds of pages, she has almost 2000 upvotes and has gained a number of levels because of it. She isn't active in the least bit. Meanwhile, I have almost managed to level once since she made that post!

100 upvotes is not equal to 100 points. What you get by getting upvoted is CG (Community Gain), it's explained here: https://eu.alienwarearena.com/rewards
It depends the level of the people who upvoted it, in the case you mentioned most of them are from low levels so it barely gives you points.

I was talking about the Community Gain for voting versus the trickle gain from having your post voted. Some junk posts still get 1000+ votes from the CG spammers. I am aware that my high level votes are far more damaging/benefiting than a low level persons votes. Which is why I am careful and particular about I vote for now. But given enough drops a rain, a flood can still occur.

I very much doubt it's something intentional. Their site is broken and chances are they're currently struggling to fix it but don't know how or where to look. The site right now appears to be heavily cached and barely keeping up with the current forum activity. If you somehow doubt it, just go to their site and try searching for something that isn't likely to be cached. For instance, search for "leaderboard" and you'll see the truth behind the cache:

Not entirely sure that would work out well for a user in the end. If you upvote a spam post, that then gets deleted by the admin, you lose 10 ARP plus your credit for upvoteing it. That means potentially you could lose 500 ARP a day while attempting to get 10 ARP for the upvotes. If even one post gets deleted, that is two days worth of ARP loss. Also the site carries negative numbers so if you are in the hole, you have to dig out again to become positive again (or make a new account I suppose).
Edit: Now an autodownvoter, that is where the real money is! All posts start getting massive downvotes, all become unviewable due to the auto-mod. The site is peaceful due to the face no one can post anything due to the fact it will be instantly downvoted to oblivion. The white knights will send in their auto-upvoters to combat the auto-downvoters, but it would be a losing battle. The auto-ups would lose so much ARP from the spam losses that their votes would become meaningless. They would slowly die away, becoming grey nights, who selectively upvote and downvote posts. Knowing that their best times are in the past, and their war wounds are deep.

create a steamgifts giveaway on they forum but add limit alienware level 10-15 and ask for upvotes, because upvotes from accounts under 10 lvl dont give ur anything
The main problem most of level 30 accounts its all fakes from one guy, but he give ur +3 points from 1 upvote

10 is the level requirement. For other giveaways, write the min level required to get a key.

You can vote everyday on random comments/posts (50 for 10 points) and 25 times on "This or That" forum session for 5 points, i dont know what level this guy started but doing this everyday you can get from 5 to 10 pretty "fast"

I've got it. Points appears with delay and i've used voting "This or That" in wrong way. Finally i've got 14 daily points (Vote on 50 post=10p + Vote on 25 this and that=4p) and it'll take approx. 26 days to get lvl 10 ))))
