Did "uhm" add to the discussion at all? Some mods are pretty strict, and unless it was a discussion called 50 Ways to Spell Umm it's neither useful nor on-topic. I've had warnings for stuff like that in other places.

Moderators don't perma ban people from the discussions section without a perfectly justified reason. That's why suspensions exist for people who create spam like "uhm". Clearly there's more to this than you're admitting.

Well, considering that I have blacklisted you before and that you are tagged as "Spammer", I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume that you were banned for more than just that post.

You probably spammed multiple times, your last post was simply the one which got you banned. For example, if you spammed three messages which said "huh", "hmm" and "uhm", it would be considered spam. Three spammy messages are enough to get you banned (depending on the forum).

Of course, from a bystander's view, and with a thread with so little context, we'd be pushed to believe that you were wrongly penalized. However, I'm leaning towards the idea that you weren't. Your past posting on this forum is enough to make me believe so.
