B-b-buying?
If the monthly looks like this, a lot of people would probably cancel their subscription.

Excellent bundle if you like sim games but i already have Big Pharma, Democracy 3 (without DLC's) and Youtuber's Life. Still getting tier 1 for OOTP 17 which i almost bought during the steam sale. I have played most of the previous OOTP games and it's an excellent underrated series (if you like Football Manager you will also enjoy OOTP).

Bwhahahahahahaha!
Oh boy, I was joking about HB having Indiegala bundles posted by accident, but I never thought they'd actually do that.
Whew, I really hope this means that the Friday reveal of the monthly will be kicking massive amounts of ass.

For sim lovers, it has a 17-year-old game they most likely already have for years and a BTA tier drug factory one.
It also has a game which I swear one of its earlier releases was actually on IG or BS, a game which is positive only because of the joke reviews, a game which even sim fans tell is repetitive as hell, and the feature representation is a meme game that had actual effort in it.
Oh, and a game where the base game apparently consists of less than 0.75% of the actual content, meaning it is less than the preview of a demo they tried to present as a full game a few months back.
if it had one of something like Mini metro, one of the Cities games, or maybe Prison Architect, Papers Please (or heck, maybe even 1849) somewhere in there instead of [Insert Random Name] Simulator 2016—which stopped being funny around 2013—then I could call it a good effort in a sim bundle. Having a game that even GOG bundled to death on the supposedly highest-grade bundle site, I cannot, no matter how good that game was even in the last century.

For sim lovers, it has a 17-year-old game they most likely already have for years...
Well, yes, if by "have" you mean had a pirated copy or had a long lost disk. Some may already own it on GOG. But it's the first time the Steam version is getting bundled, and this is not a library filler "nostalgia" game. I played it a few months ago and it's still good.
...and a BTA tier drug factory one.
Well... yes. It's a drug factory game that's good enough for the BTA tier. I'm not sure if that's somehow a criticism?
It also has a game which I swear one of its earlier releases was actually on IG or BS,...
Uh, OOTP? Assuming it's that (and even if it isn't, the same still applies), hasn't it crossed your mind that this being the baseball version of Football Manager, one of the most played and praised game series ever, is more important to strategic simulation fans that what bundle a previous version was included in? And for that matter, are you some kind of bundle elitist? You think games that were in ""uncool"" bundles are beneath you? If that's the case, you really are an asshole.
...a game which is positive only because of the joke reviews,...
You seem to be talking about Democracy 3. One of my favourite games ever, part of one of my favourite game series ever. Screw the people who can't stop plastering the store page with uninformative joke reviews, but screw you harder for casually insulting a game I love.
...a game which even sim fans tell is repetitive as hell,...
This is probably Car Mechanic. A fair point. But similar levels of criticism have been directed at previous BTA tier games in other genres. I'd say this is an average quality game for BTA.
...and the feature representation is a meme game that had actual effort in it.
Again, is this criticism?
Oh, and a game where the base game apparently consists of less than 0.75% of the actual content, meaning it is less than the preview of a demo they tried to present as a full game a few months back.
I'm guessing Train Simulator? Frankly I have no idea why that game is in this bundle. I haven't played it, but from what I understand there's no economics involved, it's just a train driving simulator. Maybe another game became unavailable shortly before launch and they had to find an emergency replacement?
if it had one of something like Mini metro, one of the Cities games, or maybe Prison Architect, Papers Please (or heck, maybe even 1849) somewhere in there...
Mini Metro? Yeah, why not. But it wouldn't be much better than what's already available, if at all better. It's also been bundled already, three times.
Cities: Skylines? Sure. But it would have to be at the top tier, and I expect Paradox is saving that as the centerpiece of one of their own future bundles.
Cities in Motion? Sure. But again, Paradox is probably keeping them for their own bundles, and they've been bundled already anyway.
Cities XL and its derivatives? All of them are unworthy.
Prison Architect? Yeah, that would be a good fit and certainly above average quality. It's also been bundled three times before though.
Papers, Please? While I don't particularly get the appeal of this game, I suppose it wouldn't be too terrible a fit. Wouldn't really be better than what's already there though.
1849 has no place in such a bundle. It's a simplistic version of the old Sierra city builders, apparently designed for people who aren't all that into city builders or complex games in general.
...instead of [Insert Random Name] Simulator 2016—which stopped being funny around 2013—...
I don't see anyone trying to be funny. But some weird people keep trying to mock all games that even remotely resemble the low effort "Insert Profession" Simulators that keep popping up on Steam. It's always cringy to read.
...then I could call it a good effort in a sim bundle.
Does it matter what you call it though? You certainly don't appear to be part of the target audience. Whereas I am, and I call it a very good effort. When encountering something you're not interested in, I find it better to move along than to complain that your specific taste is not being catered to at every opportunity.
Having a game that even GOG bundled to death on the supposedly highest-grade bundle site, I cannot, no matter how good that game was even in the last century.
I'm not sure I understand this part. Assuming you're talking about RCT1, does that mean you think classic games that are still good today are somehow beneath "the supposedly highest-grade bundle site"? Holy fuck, man, your bundle elitism has gone too far.

Nope, RCT is not a library-filler, but it is also old enough to be in a nostalgia bundle, like the ancient Sierra games bundle they had. (Which had its own problems, like gracefully flipping off all poor sods who bought them at Steam release, less than a week before HB had them for a fraction of a price. Never seen a publisher care this little abouts its customers since mid-2000s EA.)
Yes, OOTP is a Football Manager type, and I am sure that if an actual FM would be here, this bundle wouldn't have one of the highest "nope" for a HB pack on this poll either. Instead, it is about a game that is played and cared about in what, two countries on the planet?

I kind of have to agree with Vercinger here. It's a pretty solid offering overall, and considered in terms of a "simulator" bundle, I'd say it's very decent.
Remember the first "Simulator" bundle HB put up? The current one is leagues better with much broader mainstream appeal.
This bundle is also way above the usual IG level trash. Let's have a look at what a simulator bundle over there looks like. Not pretty, eh?
Saying this bundle reaches comparable levels of suckitude is a pretty absurd claim.

Bought only because TS, not even going to play it.

Very undecided! I like these types of games, but already have Big Pharma and OOTP16 and (thus) really only want Democracy 3. $4.17 is a lot though for a cheapskate like me. :D
I.e. serious consideration between BTA, maybe T1 and nothing at all.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well $4.17 is less than the third tier that you got Big Pharma in the past - if I remember correctly :D
Comment has been collapsed.
It is, a lot less. :D /not bitter it was $15
But $4.17 isn't that much less for Democracy 3 than its best ever sale... I'm not going to play it right now anyways.
ETA: however, the D3 is Collector's Edition ??! Ngh, I guess... It was tax returns day yesterday.

That's because they're used to overpaying ?
I can't resist cheap shots, sorry

Bought BTA when it got to $4.12 (+1). It can now plummet.

It comes with the collector version of Democracy 3 :

It doesn't look like the BTA will drop more than that. I'll pass. Spent too much already.
