It hasn't even been a year since they released AC3, and they've already got a trailer for AC4? Smells rushed to me.

You arent missing much by not doing it, the ending...you will probably see coming a mile away.
3 was easily the weakest in the series, i dont see myself buying 4.

your stupid cod its only popular because ubisoft got help out of rockstar.
bethesda didint need any help developing halo 4.

i i hope people dont preorder this, not after what happened with 3. i cant say i like this or i hate this since i havent seen any gameplay at all, but the pirate concept is preety good

the game is built around building scaling. Being surrounded by water seems bad for climbing things.

Now all developers do pre orders and season passes, very common thing, but pre ordering now, without knowing anything is ultra stupid xd, but Ubisoft don't like sales, but anyways will b possible tog et it with discount after. If someone pre orders now will happen the same as happened to Bioshock Infinite, people paid 60$ or more for pre ordering it some months ago, and now you can get the game with a very good discount and have also 2 free games, or get it for free by buying a video card AMD, so I feel sad for that ppl who pre ordered Bioshock Infinite for 60$ or more xd? or better someone already pre ordered Assassin's Creed IV? :D

err, people that preordered Bioshock Infinite earlier are getting the bonuses too...
Buying a video card AMD is everything but free. And, maybe, you know, people actually like to support the developers and franchises they like? I know I'm preordering Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs the day the preorders get available, no matter the price or bonuses.

as much as i like helping devs, preordering is a bad idea, for me its just a way to lock customers into buying a game withouth reviews, so they can sell a buggy, dlc full and boring game with no effort at all and still get shitload of money

Crappy devs will be crappy devs. If that does happen, it means they were not exactly devs I liked before. There are still a lot of competent devs out there that do deserve the money. I have no reviews of games I funded in kickstarted, but I completely trust the developers I supported because they always gave me products with quality.

Dont be pissed when a sequel does not get released because they didnt break even then.

Not sure how leaked this is with the ad at the end for gamestop. I'm not ecstatic about the pirate idea but this is the stuff that got me excited about this series in the first place. They can literally do anything they want with the character and still have it be assassins creed. Cold war era soviet, sure. Iraqi freedom fighter, why not. Hell they could make you judas and a mission is to kill jesus, they could make anything work. Not that that last one would make a good game but still, people would buy it.

meh still need to play brotherhood, revelations and 3

i sense half of this game will be boats, my god it makes me miss the times assasins die by touching the water

Loved AC2, but the series has gone downhill since then (culminating in a buggy as hell AC3). I'm happy to hear that they will be focusing more on the naval battles, since I really enjoyed that portion in AC3, but I will be holding any expectations until the game comes out. Honestly, if they just bug-test more, I'll be happy (If I/my horse falls through the ground again...)

Hopefully we will not need to say: "Creed of Duty"

Sick of the comparisons to Call of Duty. At least this series treats us to decent-good games every year. I will admit I had problems with 3 and wanted them to take a year off to refine things, though.
The Pirate setting looks interesting, but a little Pirates of the Carribean-y to me. I'll still get it and enjoy it, though.

It's just me, or Assassin's creed is following foot COD steps
