If I were exposed to radiation I would hope I get superpowers... opposed to the other option... death...

/me points to his Steam profile.
The U.S. Specifically, Arkansas. I should have been in bed hours ago, and would have except this kind of woke me up. I'm finally starting to get tired again, but I started working on something to relax and now I'm trying to finish it before I sleep. I may just have to get some sleep first, though. Still a fair amount of work to be done on it.

Good to hear that you're ok. If you begin to develop super powers, be sure to use them for good.

So, just about 20 minutes ago (03:52 or :53 locally), there was a large explosion at a chemical plant down the road from me. I heard and felt the pressure wave here, but no one is hurt and nothing is damaged here. The wind is almost non-existent, but what gusts there are are pointed in this direction. The windows are closed and the A/C is shut off just in case. I don't think it will be an issue, but it's possible. I'll be heading to bed shortly. Wish me luck and I'll see you all tomorrow.
